If I could rate this company with zero stars, I would! Absolutely hands down, the WORST insurance company EVER!!!! 1. They NEVER answer the phone. I have been on hold for hours, only to be hung up on several times! 2. They take months to pay claims, when they pay them at all! 3. There are never any doctors in the plan! Sure, they say they cover dental and vision and have providers all over, but in reality, they have NOTHING to choose from! My daughter, age 22, MUST HAVE her tonsils out but cannot because there are NO specialists in the plan that accept adult patients for this procedure! One eye doctor!!! That is 40 miles from my home! Simply no choices! 4. After waiting for my insurance card 3 months, I was sent a card with the wrong doctor on it, not once, but twice! Absolutely, the worst! Run, in the other direction and find a new company!

Was considering switching to illini care and called to ask a few questions about health care providers. the operator kept cutting me off mid-sentence and repeating himself in a snide tone, as if he was reading from a script. the whole call agitated me and i did not get an answer to my question, i just wanted to hang up as soon as possible. i will not be choosing illini care plan.

this insurance sucks ass....I have to admit my disable fiancé into a rehab facility because their transportation is very unreliable....they are super slow on everything I have county care no problems will be switching as soon as my fiancé gets better so he can still attend ric. they suckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
