Safeway Property Insurance of Gainseville, Florida is TERRIBLE!!! Unprofessional and evasive. They wrote a homeowners policy for me in Florida. They collected $1,133 from my bank escrow. They then cancelled me after 3 weeks. Reason? Sinkhole activity in area (doubtful), and sent an unreadable "chart" as proof. Now it has been 3 weeks since the end of my policy (May 12), and my bank has STILL NOT RECEIVED the refund of premium. Meanwhile my escrow is $500 short. I HATE this company and intend to spread the word far and wide to NOT insure Florida property by them. It is a scam--they write the policy, then tell you they are cancelling you due to sinkhole activity, BUT they will write you a NEW policy WITHOUT sinkhole coverage. They are incompetent and not to be trusted.

Worst insurance company. Just spoke with customer service rep Michael and he tried to increase my policy because I was adding another driver and making me claim my vehicle for use as a business vehicle. The primary use of the vehicle would not be used for business. The car is for personal use. He was rude and sarcastically apologetic. This is final straw with this company. Not worth dealing with their unprofessionalism for a car insurance policy that is terrible. I am canceling my auto insurance and going with State Farm.

GARBAGE .Omg worse insurance ever. Waist of money I regret it. To my knowledge I thought when u payed for insurance and if another driver hit ur vehicle they would help u get ur damage payed by contacting the other persons insurance. But that was not the case they had me do everything myself . No help from them wat so ever . Then they give u an attitude on the phone and try to get u off the phone asap . Like I said GARBAGE worthless insurance should be the name. Very poor service.

Right now I have insurance with safeway and just got into a accident now I have full coverage but the other drive didnt so they tell me since the other driver doesnt have insurance that I would have too pay cash money for me vehicle and they would reimburse me my money back and I didnt understand why should I pay for my rental car when full coverage with rental reimbursement

Had Full COVERAGE ,FULL COVERAGE and my husband get into a car accedent and they cancel my policy and say tey are not paying for anything. IF YOU ARE READING THIS PLEASE FOR MY PEACE OF MIIND DO NOT LET THIS COMMAPNY WIN...THIS COMPANY IS A FRAUD. All theywant is there money and once they have that when you need them they will drop you like a sack of potatoes......

Absolutely worts company to work with. Agents are not helpful. Personally have worked with Anna Costiomitis she was not helpful, even hang up on me when i was asking to have equal size vehicle yo have at the rental
