Team field service: Response to call - fast..diagnostic & recommendation for work done & fast. Installation of required size unit of HVAC done the second day & work was never stopped until done almost midnite that day.All destroyed parts were taken away & replaced with a new unit including H20 Heater & new ducting to our satisfaction. Phone Calls - slow to response hardly return messages,Office Customer service very poor - messages breakdown w/o reaching the person. Dan & Josh are excellent Salespersons explains things wrong & correction instituted at once but very hard to contact after.Request I made for refund,Warranty copy,& Application for promised rebates people their keep promising to mail them but nothing so far. Performance of technicians Excellent & job well-done but promised check up after work done w/in a month forgotten & made me tired calling not returning my call. I am stock with them & I have to deal with people who will one day realize that the work while good was very expensive especially for sickly seniors like my husband & me (Lloyd & Mecedes) Thanks...

I would just like to thank this company for the outstanding work that they provided to my Mother-in-law. She is an elderly widow and needed assistance in fixing an A/C unit that another company broke while trying to diagnose the problem. Martez Wilson was the first technician that came to her rescue and worked in the dark till almost 11 PM one night to repair her unit! The following day, Larry Mitchell arrived to complete the job for her! All free of charge may I add! Outstanding customer service and superior quality work! Not to mention the Orange & Blue representing Gator Nation! You all are awesome people! And a BIG THANK YOU TO THE OWNER, KEVIN LYONS for providing this service free of charge to assist her in her time of need! They even went out of their normal territory to provide service to someone in need! That speaks volumes for any organization! Our family will never be able to thank you enough! I just want to express my sincerest thanks to Mid-Fla Heating & Air conditioning. Charlie, Arron & Travis were very knowledgeable, efficient and polite. I will admit I was very skeptical at first but 10 minutes into our air-conditioning installation I was totally confident that the job would be completed right. Charlie took the time to explain the process in detail. I would however recommend that they give the customer a call when they know what time they expect to be there. I cannot stress enough how much attention to detail Charlie exhibited such as the application of the mastic to the base of the air handler & top of the plenum was done with care as well as the clean & neat job Arron did with the conduit & electrical at the condenser. This is the first time I have ever taken the time to post a positive comment about a vendor but their workmanship deserves it. I will be glad to provide a testimonial for them Dan H. Ocala

Our pleasant experience began with the salesperson, Annette, came to our home. She was so informative, eased our minds that a new system was not going to put us in the poor house. Annette asked questions about our lifestyle and needs so that the system we decided on fit us. Mid-Florida called to tell us that the system we had ordered had a dent in the unit and they did not want to put a damaged unit in our home. Our install date was a very hot day - we dreaded hearing that the installation would be put off. However, Mid-Fla technicians drove to Jacksonville to pick up a new unit and drove all the way back to The Villages and worked until late to give us comfort. They went above and beyond! We would highly recommend this company to everyone. We found Mid-Fla to be professional, honest, reliable and we feel peaceful about our decision and the quality of their materials and work.

I called on a Saturday because my house was not cooling. Like many of us do, we panic and are desperate to have our air conditioner working. I called and spoke with Kaleb W. He had great response time and was courteous. However, I was charged $303.00 for him to diagnoise and replace the Dual Capacitor. He did give me a 15% Military Discount but it still hurt to pay that much, especially when I Iooked on the internet later and learned that it was something that as a home owner one can complete the job. I was gouged on the price of the part and the total cost. Dont be a victim like me. Google can be your best friend and save you lots of money. We work hard for our money and then have something like this happen. Thats why I am not a business man because I would not feel comfortable cheating others.

Had my A/C go out the day before I was going on a trip so I had to get someone to repair it before I left. I called Mid-Florida to see if it was possible for them to send someone out to repair it before I left. The girl who answered the was very pleasant and helpful, said no problem they could send a mechanic to repair it. I had never dealt with them before but they had no problem sending someone. They sent a gentleman named Jamie and he trouble shooted the unit and found and fixed in no time. He even convinced me that it would be a good idea to have a service contract, which I also signed up for. Jamie was a life saver along with Mid-Florida Heating and air. Thank you, Bob

I payed alot of $ for a brand new unit less than a year ago and it took several trips to even get it installed properly. The people are nice but completely incompetent! My boyfriend and brother had to get under my house two times not more than 10 minutes of a tech leaving my home. The "dog house" around it because they destroyed my skirting looks trashy as hell! Now I an hiring a lawyer because I refuse to pay 89$ when I had service done two weeks ago and now it is freezing up! Really an AC approximately 1 year old, serviced twice and now freezing! Completely ridiculous! Instead or a 7,000$ investment to improve my home I got the worst customer service I have ever heard of!

I purchased an air conditioning system from you last year. We are very happy with it, and with your sevice. So much so, that we decided to purchase another package unit from Mid-Fla today from a very capable competent employee of yours named Rolando. He quickly determined our problem, created solution and recommended the proper unit. He was prompt, professional and most pleasant to deal with. So much, that we will consider purchasing another unit from him in the future. You are fortunate to have an employee like him working for your firm. I think the service was good, but very expensive. The technician recommended a "pull and clean" of the internal coils during a service check at a cost of around $500. I assumed he documented his findings justifying the need for the cleaning on the service report. I did not receive a written copy of the service report. Upon accessing the electronic copy, I discovered this information was missing. I received an email of the findings, which was not official upon request. This email included a sale pitch recommendation in addition to the findings. Hence, the business practices are not desirable.

Mid Florida consistently reports that my capacitor is faulty and needs replacing, as well as another $250+ part. My tenant was weary of this and called another company, who reported that there were no parts that needed replacing!!!! Now 6 months later, the technician has reported the same thing. I will not use Mid-Florida again. In fact I only did so this time, as I still had a pre-paid service remaining. Customer service could be rated above average, but the consistent scam to replace parts that are still good, reduces the star rating and forces me to take my business elsewhere.

Mid. Fla. tech arrived in great time to my house in Ocala .Larry Mitchell performed the spring service on my unit replaced a dual capacitor ,&explained to me why I should replace it while also explaining the symptoms of one going bad . Larry also added a start kit to my unit I could hear the difference in it starting. I am very happy I found this company after going thru many. I intend to use them on all my properties & farm in Gainesville & Ocala . I will be buying my Springaire filtration system thru them , & recommending them to my family friends , neighbors.

Everyone I have worked with at Mid-Florida has been very friendly and helpful. Today, Carlos was out to do an inspection on the new unit I purchased last year, and he was polite, friendly, and answered all of my questions. No complaints here - I will continue to work with Mid-Florida for my future AC needs.**Update - new review (9/21/17): I called this morning since my AC stopped working properly last night. Jamie got to my place very quickly and the AC was working in a matter of minutes, so I am once again a pleased customer.**

Our experience with Tim was completely positive and happy. Tim showed up at the house early and was ready to work. He was replacing an existing compressor unit that was very heavy and in a very tight space. He accomplished that in a short time and with minimal damage to surrounding plants. Tim was very patient with all of our questions and gave answers that showed the breadth and depth of his knowledge. He will be welcome back at any time and we will certainly request that Tim be sent for any future AC work at our house.

I got a quote from several companies before choosing to go with Mid-Fla. They were very competitive and had a price breakdown so I could compare quotes better. Installation was smooth and professional. My only complaint is the communication with the office. No one seems to know how to get the paperwork promised in order for me to file for rebates and it has been 3 weeks since installation. Busy or not, they should follow through with each customer as if they were important - something that has not happened in this case.

My bi-annual service has always been performed by technically competent and professional individuals. Most recently, I had my 13 year old inefficient HVAC system replaced. Again, I had competent, professional individuals perform the work in only a half a day. Besides the on-site work, the Customer Support staff were extremely helpful and responsive in resolving some minor issues. Follow up phone calls were promptly addressed by their staff. A job well done, all around.

Larry Mitchell is a rare gem in the service industry. He is and will continue to be the only service tech that i request to service my A/C unit . He is superbly knowledgeable and arrives on time with a very professional demeanor to both you his customer and also to his work. He has found and corrected all wiring and other errors ( including installation issues) performed by previous service companies.My A/C System is now running at 100% efficiency. Thanks Larry M

He serviced my air conditioner in the spring, and I requested him for my winter maintenance. On both occasions, he was extremely pleasant and helpful. We have been with Mid-Fla. for many years now. On Oct. 29, Chris Vinson was the technician. We were impressed with how hard he worked to clean the air handler where a snake had crawled in & died. Not only was he thorough, he was skilful & knowledgeable when he replaced a capacitor. Chris is very personable, taking time to explain things & to answer our questions. We hope he comes to our house each time we are due for a check-up.
