I first came into contact with this agency several weeks ago when looking for a better rate on homeowners. Amy was the agent who initially assisted me and then Michael also participated in a conference call with me as well. I cannot say enough about how knowledgable and personable these two agents were. They were extremely generous of their time and were very patient in explaining to me the ins and outs of homeowners insurance. They reviewed my current policy in great detail and explained all of their concerns and made authoritative recommendations to me about what they believed were my best options. They recommended an engineering firm to have a sinkhole screening to determine if I needed it. Unfortunately I was at high risk and had to keep the coverage. I ended up staying with the agent who writes my current policy due to this recommendation. Strategic Insurance was gracious and completely understood. If I have any insurance needs in the future, there is no question in my mind who I will turn to. This agency is top shelf and I would recommend to them to anyone!!

In August 2012 we purchased a waterfront home and used Strategic, working with Mike Ludwig and LeeAnn Dugan, to find our Wind, Homeowners and Flood insurances. In February we did a renovation and we needed to bind a Builders Risk Policy. LeeAnn was able present several alternatives after contacting numerous companies. When the renovation was completed, this included the installation of an entirely new roof, LeeAnn worked diligently to answer the numerous question raised by the Wind carrier over items in the Wind Mitigation Report. When the policy was finally issued an additional premium was assessed due to a hip roof on an outside deck. After researching the issue and supplying the insurer with a copy of the architect’s roof plan Strategic was able to get the insurer to issue a rebate for the entire additional premium. As the Florida insurance carriers become more difficult to work with it is important to have someone working for you that is diligent and hard working. Citizens Insurance was going to cancel my homeowners insurance unless I got a new roof. Elizabeth Aker from Strategic Insurance contacted me regarding the issue. I explained to her I was in the process of choosing a roofing company and was then going to get a new roof. Without her special attention and relentless determination, I would be without insurance. She jumped through hoops staying in contact with me and PRATTCO, the roofing company I went with. She made sure all documents and pictures were obtained in a timely manner. I want to commend her for all of her hard efforts. She was determined to help me and make sure I would not go without homeowners insurance. I recently bought a home and shopped around for insurance, getting quotes from 4 insurance agents and 3 other insurance carriers. I ended up going with Strategic Insurance for several reasons. Michael Ludwig was extremely knowledgeable and such a nice guy. I had many questions and he took the time to explain all of my options, provide helpful advice, and walk through nearly every line item on my quote (as well as on the final contract). From the initial contact she was very professional and assuring that she was doing everything possible to have this corrected.
