I used to really like GESA, now not so much. It seems they are more interested in building more locations, and remodeling everything under the sun rather than work on CUSTOMER SERVICE! The problem is not with the tellers, or managers, its with the corporate culture of GESA. We should all be thankful they allow us to leave our money with them. I am closing out all of my accounts after my final loan payment is made next month. I have been a member for 24 years, and have watched them grow and become less and less in touch with their members. They are like the Bank of America of credit unions now. I will be switching over too a small local bank. I like to walk into a clean place of business, but I also realize how much money they are spending on architectural details in side the branches. They look cool, but really that money can be used in a better way for the members. Try more loans, better interest rates on accounts, or learn how to write a letter to a member and not make it seem like it is coming from a pom pass a$$ of a business. I miss the old GESA.

Gesa Credit Union is no different then the banks. They will charge you a monthly fee if you do not use your Visa Debit card at least 12 times in a month. Nice to be told how often you should spend your own money. They, like the banks will charge you a $25.00 fee for NSF even when you have plenty of cash in Savings. Customer service depending on who you get is ok. I remember the good old days when the banks knew you by name and treated you with respect. Like the Airlines they do not care !
