Recently I worked with American Loans to refinance my home. I got 3.5% interest on a conventional fixed rate loan with no closing costs after rebate! Not only did I cut my monthly payment by almost $200 but we were able to eliminate PMI after the appraisal. The broker was helpful and thorough, answering all my questions in terms I could understand. I was especially pleased with the patience he showed as we worked through all options. In my case buying down the loan percentage did not make sense because I would only see savings after 4 years. I feel educated about the process and am confident I got the best possible loan and rate. I have recommended American Loans to my friends and encourage anyone to take advantage of these great rates.

One example that stands out is a time where we needed to do a quick turn on a pre-approval letter before putting an offer in on a home. Unfortunately, the means to receive a construction loan for my new home was extremely difficult, taking nearly five full months. I was required to refinance my primary home, pay off every debt and then take out a second loan in order to get through the process. It was a very long and frustrating process. Credit scores and history are exceptional and never had a debt sent to collection, in 30 years. All of this being said, I believe the agent assigned to assist was "caught in the middle" and she was very courteous and great to work with. The overall process was horrible
