Not only did the appraiser abruptly cancel or no show three times before just showing up (family in the house had two small kids and had to abruptly leave), he made sexually explicit remarks to the listing agent, and then delivered a report that had incorrect pictures, incorrect city names, incorrect data through out the report, appraiser sent me 5 different copies of the report none with correct data, and the $24000 in upgrades my sellers completed in the last 4 years he said added no value (windows, gutters, siding, landscaping, back patio remodel) In addition, value of the house was appraised very low for a hot area were properties are selling in under 7 days and over asking. I was able to come to terms with my sellers, but the undue stress from this situation was uncalled for. When you pay for a service you expect a fair and accurate report. You should not have to fight to get a correct report. Honestly even a reply from "senior managers" at appraisal nation would have been nice to the email I sent to customer service on this appraisal, but no communication past first line customer service. Very very bad experience and I still have an inaccurate report without corrected information. Extremely unprofessional.

Worst appraisal, nearly half the real value of my property. I lost the $595 fee and had to go with another company, almost lost my loan and home because they were willing to take my money and not do a good job. I first called their appraiser who would not respond (presumably because he already had the money and did not want to do more work) and I called the local office and they told me to start filling out protest forms...I just had to pay double and go with a better appraiser with another company so I did not loose my loan.

As an appraiser on the panel for Appraisal Nation, I have always been treated with respect, never received any attempts to influence the reported values in my reports and payment has always been on time. In regards all the negative reviews left here, it is painfully obvious these people are clueless as to the role that an appraisal management company plays in the process of a mortgage.

Refinanced for cash out in Feb. Put 15K into improvements. 6 mo later loan company willing to redo loan for free due to rate guarantee. Looking at .75% reduction. Appraiser comes in 12k less than 6 mo prior with better housing market and 15k in improvements. Not real happy

Our family was on vacation when the house was being appraised, the appraiser gave me a heads up via email that he was on the way and also another whenever he arrived. He even shut an upstairs window that someone had accidentally left open before we left. Wonderful company!

Worst expierence ever. Have waited over a month. Now past original closing date. Agent is extremely rude. Will never recomend this company nor any of its agents in Texas. This is out right ridiculous. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY you will regret it.

Really poor quality. Their appraisal came back at over $100k lower in error. Another appraisal company fixed their mess. Clearly using them is about the same as drawing values out of a hat.
