Scott and his team quickly put together loan options for us for pre-approval that helped us get our offer accepted on our first ever home purchase. He took the time to explain the details to us and made us feel confident we were making the right decisions (quite a feat given our level of ignorance!) His team continued to support us through closing with care and efficiency, making it surprisingly easy to navigate this unfamiliar world. This can be a harrowing experience for new homebuyers and I heartily recommend the Fairway team to anyone seeking both great loan options and an attentive staff working to make things easy for you. I contacted Fairway after learning of their Physician loan programs from the “White Coat Investor” website. I was put in touch with Josh Mettle out of their Salt Lake City office. We went through our documentation, and he told me how much home I could afford to purchase and then we started our search. We found a home that was above what Josh originally had approved us for, but that was no problem. He found a workaround where we were able to secure a home equity line of credit for the remaining increase above the original approval so that we could purchase a home with only 5% down. We got a home that checked almost all our boxes and are incredibly pleased with our experience with Fairway Mortgage and the fantastic job of our lending agent Josh Mettle. Highly recommend to anyone considering a physician loan!
