Where do I begin? Phone calls are never returned. Phones are never ever ever ever answered. Cut throats tactics are used so the collection agents can get a nice commission check. There is no reasoning, negotiations or friendly conversation. I also believe that employees are given false names. The phone operators pretend they are trying to reach an employee you ask for and transfer you to the abyss

I actually had a pretty positive experience with Rubin & Rothman. Vicky was nice and very professional, also she was willing to work with me. I understand that it is not their fault that i owed money but she was very understanding and helped me through the process to get my financial situation straightened out. Thanks!

They are vultures !! They lie about the age of accounts to secure judgments. They NEVER return phone calls or e-mails. I used the FCRA to purge their poison from my credit reports. I have had great credit scores for over 3 years now. Use the Fair Credit Reporting Act to get them out of your files.

What ever you do, if they start calling, just settle with them before they take you to court and ask for the full judgement. Lesson learned.
