I have been coming here for several years and always had courteous help and reasonable prices for all the different services I have received. Lately I have been receiving the following services: Shellac spa manicure, shellac spa pedicure from Valerie Annoreno. I have not been disappointed as she pays special attention to the nails - to the wants of the customer- and I love her nail artwork. I have also received hair oil treatments, facials, make-up application, and waxings to which she has applied all services with the same attention and a smile. I also must mention that when Valerie Annoreno is not available - I have used her friend and fellow classmate - Ammorae Williams, who also has applied her attention to details and with a smile.

Brettonie Foster had the care and compassion to do a pedicure for the first time following my foot surgery. Though the surgery wounds were fully healed, the surgery site was still visible. In addition, because it had been a year since I had a pedicure, my feet were needing attention. I really appreciated her conscientious work. My nails turned out beautiful and she really helped the appearance of my skin by offering a new detox product for pedicures. HAHD, you have done a GREAT job training Brettonie. She will enhance the reputation of the school when she is out practicing on her own. Nice job and "Thank you, Brettonie."

I have been going to see Maddie Tanger out at the Hays Academy of Hair Design for a little over 8 months now and she is amazing! She helped me learn some new tips and tricks reguarding both makeup and hair. She is an amazing at nail art! Both on shellac and acrylic nails. She has a professional demeanor but is also friendly and easy to talk to. I would recommend her for any of the services they offer. She even knows their product line like the back of her hand and willl assist you in anyway she can. Go in today and ask for Maddie...you will NOT be disappointed! :)

Disappointed: It has been several years since I went to the academy and I was fraught when quoted prices that were not honored. The hair color did not cover the gray; the floor manager did not have a solution for any of my concerns; and you could hear all the students constantly trying to get the customers to purchase the products that the school sold suggesting that their products is what one needs. For what I paid I could have shopped in my neighborhood instead of driving an hour away. Possible a consumer questionnaire will assist them with future complaints.

Had an appointment at Hays hair academy the other day and the result was better than anything i could have imagined. Brianna Andregg was absolutely fantastic, she was able to help me translate what i wanted for my hair into a reality. She was able to lighten my very dark roots and tone my yellowy, ugly blonde to a new beautiful shade. She even brightened up my life by adding in some very cute pastel purples into my hair. Would highly recommend people go to the academy for their beauty needs and especially stop by and see Brianna!

Have been using this facility since I moved to Hays. They offer great services and very reasonable prices. This is a place of learning, but I have had great service with Reiley Brewer. I have experienced hair cuts, colors, and waxing with her. She does an amazing job and has a fabulous personality! She really listens to what the customer wants before beginning.

I had a wonderful experience here! I had Miss Lakin and I came back multiple times. She gave me a trim, reconditioning treatment and a color on separate appointments. She is fun to talk to and cares about your hair. I also bought products from her that she suggested and I love all of them. Everything was better than expected. Thank you!

Incredible job from Lexie Gomez, she talked and made sure I felt comfortable with everything before taking the next steps in the cut. Ms. Gomez edged my beard up perfectly and did an incredible job fading my hair into my beard. Very relaxing scalp treatment as well, 10 out of 10 would recommend and I will be coming here from now on.

I came in to get my hair cut and my eyebrows waxed. Lexie did a very good job, with cutting my hair and waxing my eyebrows. I also got a very good scalp treatment. I loved my visit with hays academy and I recommend to anyone! I would definitely come visit hays academy again and see Lexie. Or any of these wonderful ladies in here.

Rachel Amerin is awesome! She is so knowledgeable about her field. She took time to get to know my hair and truly hear me out on what I wanted. She gave me the best haircut I have had in a long time. It has been easy to maintain and has grown out to be manageable until I can get into her again. She is amazing.
