I cannot say enough good things about Julie Nichols and her entire team at GMFS Mortgage. My wife had only just recently started a salary job and I left a salary job in 2014 to start my own business. I knew that I had to wait at least 2 years running my business before I could apply for a mortgage. My wife and I first visited with another mortgage broker from a different company with many questions about the process, and we were not satisfied with his responses. He seemed to suggest we wouldn’t be able to get a mortgage at this time and our hopes of getting our dream house seemed to be fading. A friend of ours then recommended Ms. Nichols so we decided to give her a call. We explained our employment situation and filled out a few online forms and within hours we had a pre-approval letter. We then started on our house search knowing that we had the ability to put in firm offers in what is an extremely competitive housing market. Along the way, Julie kept us informed of everything and provided a checklist of items that were needed to complete the process, as well as a timeline to complete each item. Her entire team communicated things clearly and concisely and kept us apprised of what was needed to get the final mortgage approval. I highly recommend Ms. Nichols and GFMS Mortgage for anyone seeking a mortgage. She is so efficient and helpful, not to mention extremely knowledgeable.
