This past July of 2014, my wife and I were thinking of a lease to buy option to own our final home. It was suggested that Garrett Law with the Federal Savings Bank might be able to help us obtain a VA loan. We put ourselves in the hands of the people at The Federal Savings Bank, and to make a long story short, we were able to qualify for financing. Armed with a pre-qualification letter we went in search of our home. After a month of searching, we found the perfect home for ourselves. The experts at The Federal Savings Bank took over and lead us through the process that enabled us to close on our home on the date predicted. The process was a little stressful with the waiting for things to happen. What helped with this waiting was the fact that we were kept in the loop all the way through the process. Every single person we dealt with at Federal were very professional at their jobs and what was especially helpful was their positive attitudes all through the process. I found FSB online and decided to put in an application to refinance my home(s)...I got a call from Garrett Marcus and we started the application after a lot of research on my end... My situation was a little more difficult because we lived overseas for the previous 3 years...This slowed the process but we finally made it through the process...If you are looking to refinance or get a mortgage I would recommend FSB. We had everything brought to our house by a notary for the initial loan and for the closing the attorney came to our house and on our schedule. I have had many closings and none have ever been smooth sailing...Were there bumps yes, but Garrett helped us through them

I had a four great experiences with The Federal Savings Bank. I am very happy to be one of their clients. Through Bill Scatena, my loan officer there, I purchased a home with a Veterans Administration (VA) Home Loan Guarantee. After about six months, Bill refinanced my loan to lower my interest rate. These two experiences were pleasant, painless, and successful for me, a busy Real Estate Broker in Chicago. Then Bill Scatena did the same loans for my client. He did a VA loan and then a subsequent refinance to lower his interest rate. The Federal Savings Bank is a great company to work with to buy a home and/or refinance.

When i had a question or problem Van would answer my questions either by email or phone call no matter what day of the week it was including weekends. The Federal Savings Bank was great! Mia Schultz and Susan were great to work with. Everything was done in a timely fashion. Mia and Susan made getting a loan easy with being very knowledgeable and pleasant, they always answered all my questions no matter what time of day I contacted them. This bank lied so many times to me, when closing time came they said they were ready and it was a lie had to delay closing and pay a penalty at the apartment I was staying! 3 months after closing they still have not finished paperwork i needed done! Now no one answers my calls or emails! Horrible experience as a first time homebuyer!

These people are rude. They called me about re-financing my home loan, they asked me if I was a veteran, I answered no, than they hung up on me. I would give them no starts, but this review panel makes you choose at least 1. Not a professional way to do business!!!
