Bridgeview Bank Mortgage and especially Chad Simmons did a great job walking us through the mortgage process with a difficult refinance of our home. We were able to get a very competitive rate and the loan officer Chad was always available when we had questions along the way. I liked how I was able to receive emails and electronic copies of all the documents and was able to do almost everything online. The instructions and personal interactions were very straightforward and clear which made a very daunting process much easier to handle. With all the legal jargon you have to navigate, Bridgeview and Chad’s team did a great job of guiding us though each step of the process with clear instructions on what was needed and how to keep the process on track. They arranged for me to sign all the paperwork while I was traveling out of state on business so that I wouldn’t lose my locked in rate. I highly recommend Bridgeview for their great customer service and superior level of communication with us throughout this process. Chad went above and beyond the scope of his own duties in order to get us approved and closed on time. He worked with the underwriters, kept me informed during all phases of the process, and quickly efficiently managed around and through any delays or obstacles which could impact our successful closing.

Do yourself a favor. Stick with your hometown bank where people care about you. Our car was supposed to be included in our consolidation loan and we had discussed extra money to be included as a cushion. The loan officer even went so far as to tell me how to word the document..what the cushion money would be used for. No one contacted us to tell us they were not going to include the car. No one contacted us to let us know there would be no cushion money included. Final pay off did not include enough money to pay off the car loan. We were short $1100 for car payoff. I was stupid in that I did not read the final document close enough. We did not look over the final documents close enough because we were falsely confident that they were going to resemble the documents that were originally presented to us. Our local lawyer told us it would have cost 1/2 the money to go local. Randy LaDow did not take care of us.

Working with Chad at Bridgeview Mortgage was a great home refinancing experience. Chad was diligent in making sure every step of the way I knew what was going on, unlike many other mortgage companies I have worked with in the past. I would definitely recommend Chad Simmons to anyone buying a home or refinancing. Bridgeview mortgage with Chad Simmons provided the lowest rates on the market, I shopped around, there was no pressure the whole time. I cannot say enough good things about this whole refi experience. Being a Veteran Chad got me a VA Loan, waived my VA funding fee for being 10% or more disabled, and my lender fees to $0.00 for being a Veteran. So that helped me save a ton of money! If you are a Veteran and need a loan there really is not another Choice out there. Thank You Chad for all of your hard work and dedication to your customers.

We recently completed a mortgage refi with Bridgeview and it was an excellent experience working with Chad Simmons and the Bridgeview team. Chad was always responsive, very professional and was able to take us through the process with little difficulty. Compared to our abridged effort with Quicken a year ago, this was exceptional. Chad was always available, and responded to emails and telephone calls promptly and with the right information. He was able to answer our questions accurately and quickly, and we were able to close in a very reasonable time frame, with minimal problems despite it being a VA transaction with lots of added requirements. I was hesitant to attempt another on-line attempt after the discouraging experience with Quicken, but I would recommend Chad and Bridgeview for anyone needing a mortgage.

We closed 30 yr fixed rate at 4.125% and our experience with Chad Simmons and Bridgeview Bank was great. When we ran into issues Chad and his fellow employees went well beyond the norm to ensure that all paperwork was correct prior to signing and when small issues arose he was there lending a helping hand by trying to help locate a local UPS while I was away on business to help my wife. He was straight up and told us up front what to expect and there were no hidden fees or charges, he is also helping us get back a small fee that we had to pay out of pocket. He is a very honest man and it was a wonderful experience working with Mr. Chad Simmons. If you are looking to refinance, he is the man that you need to see.

I give 5 stars for the service but would give 0 stars for the way loans need to be done these days but that option is not available. The whole process was quick and the communication from my point of contact, Mark Denton was exceptional. My biggest fear was to throw out my personal information and rarely hear from them again. Talked to several of the people at Bridgeview in the process and my questions were always answered in a very timely manner. My biggest frustration (0 star) was the amount and depth of personal information requested. It did feel invasive but such is the sign of the times when past lenders screwed the system for everyone. I would definitely use these guys again for a refi.

As an insurance agent for 16 years I have to say this is the worst most unprofessional mortgage company I have ever dealt with. Beware! They will are sending requests to change a customers insurance policy without permission and without the customer even having a loan with their company. Total fraud. I only put 1 star in because I had to so I could post this.
