HIGHLY EXPERIENCED and RELIABLE PROFESSIONAL and DEDICATED SUPPORT TEAM I’m very grateful to Jacob for his assistance with my J1 waiver to remove the 2 years rule. J1 waiver was supposed to be a simple process, but not in my case:… my sponsoring company didn’t want to give the letter for the waiver process and my embassy didn’t want to give their approval without that letter…. I called my sponsoring company many times and I wrote several emails, but they told me, via email, that they couldn’t give any letter for the waiver, after this response, they didn’t return any calls nor replied any of my emails… I explained this situation to the embassy, but they simply told me that “without the letter of the sponsoring company it’s not possible not get the embassy’s approval”… I was in a deadlock situation… USCIS had all the documents, they were just waiting for my embassy’s letter… I was in this situation for a long time… until I found Jacob’s website and I gave him a call… he took care of everything!!!... he got the letter from the sponsoring company and the approval letter from my embassy and, after a few months my J1 WAIVER was APPROVED!!!... I highly recommend the professional services of Jacob Sapochnick… it’s very comfortable to talk to him, because he’s a good listener and he’s always there to support you and solve your immigration issues… Thanks a lot for your assistance!!!

Our J-1 hardship waiver application was approved in less than two months! My wife was facing a situation in which she had to go back to her home country for two years, leaving me and our new born baby in the U.S., if she cannot get her J-1 home-country physical presence requirement waived. She could only get her waiver through "exceptional hardship" because her founding was from the government. We had lost hope in the hardship waiver application based on information we found on the internet and by talking to other immigration lawyers. However, Jacob gave us a glimpse of hope by laying out the strategies that were different from the conventional paths discussed by others. We decided that Jacob was our best bet and chose him over others to take on our case, although we fully expected the case would be denied and probably go to appeal. We were not dissapointed. Jacob and Kate, who were friendly, patient, responsive and professional, helped us through the application with every little detail. And then, in less than two months since our application was filed, it was approved! We could not believe what happened, nor could every family and friend who helped us with the application. I was searching for a lawyer to help me appeal a very difficult i601 & i212 deportation case when I was blessed to come across Jacob Sapochnick. From our first meeting I found him to be very professional, personable and straight forward. He was cautious about giving me unrealistic expectations, and told me there was only a very slim chance the appeal would be approved. But I still wanted to fight. I hired Mr. Jacob to apply for E2 Visa which we did after we got all the documents ready in less than 2 months(very fast). I got the approval notice 2-3 weeks after we filed E2 even though we did not choose the premium option which is $1200-$1300 additional cost. I was very surprised because i was told it usually takes 2,3 months to receive the approval. There are many documents you need to get together before the application and sometimes you may not be able to provide all the documents because of your business type. Mr. Jacob has flexibility instead of asking whatever is written in the book, he always find another option to support the document that you are missing. I got approved in US and still have the second leg of the application when i go back to my country.So, i will be working with Mr. Jacob and let everyone know again how it is completed. Thank you

I was disappointed with my previous lawyer who handled my H1-B transfer case. She was hard to reach; she would only communicate via email, and was unreachable by phone. I found Jacob on an internet search, and he gladly took over my case. It was much easier to work with Jacob and his team. They were available via email and phone. They explained the process and necessary paperwork in detail. They were very flexible, and if I was unable to provide some documentation, they suggested alternative forms that would suffice. They followed up with reminders and updates on the process. I felt that they cared about my case. Once we got all the necessary forms and submitted them, the H1-B transfer was approved without complication. It was actually approved much sooner than I had anticipated! I needed a TN VISA for Management Consulting in the NYC. I had never worked in the US before and heard horror stories about getting denied at the boarder for the smallest things. I was coming from Canada so the TN1 was the cheapest and easiest route but as a management consultant it is the most scrutinized. After working with Jacob I not only felt 100% confident with my application, I felt over prepared. My timeline was an issue as well and he was able to accommodate for that, getting everything done in almost two days. He coordinated with my new employer, drafted all the documents prepared me with a concise checklist, and was available to discuss any concerns at a minutes notice.
