I have never actually written a review prior to this horrible experience. I had an issue with my air conditioner. It is a 20 years old so it is time for a new one. I called atlas butler to come out and figure out what was wrong with the system. Technician comes out says there is a leak in the coil and we need a new ac and heater. At this point the selling wouldn’t stop, I asked him to put in coolant to get some comfort for my 4 and 6 year child and then send someone out for estimate. He then proceeds to tell me after 30 minutes he can’t get ac to start so I need hard start kit. At this point I say fine just get me some relief I have to small children. He then comes back 30 minutes later saying it didn’t work and the charge is 500 dollars and he still didn’t put coolant in. Sent him on his way walked right outside and flipped switch for ac and it started right up. I just don’t understand why these companies can’t be honest. I was going to buy a new ac system anyway, you see this crap on the nightly news shows where they expose the dishonest tactics of these companies but they just continue. I will tell everyone this that you should never work with atlas butler they allow these peoples to pray on consumers because it helps their bottom line.

My 25 year old furnace finally died and had to be replaced. They sent out a technician named Bernard who promptly diagnosed the problem. We went over costs and future scenarios of other parts on my out of date furnace breaking down and I knew I would have to get a whole new unit. An Atlas contractor named Nick came the next day to do a walk through of my new furnace needs and to go over models and pricing. He made me aware of all my options and benefits of the higher priced units, but he didn’t try any high pressure/hard sell tactics which was greatly appreciated. Instead he explained that the basic model would work fine for my house and would still be an upgrade on efficiency compared to my current furnace. The installers Tyler and Austin came the next day and did an awesome job of fitting the new unit and tying it in with my existing ductwork. They even rearranged where the air filter is placed making it more accessible which was a hassle on the old unit. My thermostat was upgraded to a Nest digital model and they ran through the menus with me and explained the set up before they left. Overall from the first phone call to installation my experience with Atls Butler was excellent and I would recommend them.

The service provided to us on 11 & 21 May 2015 by Kyle Forsythe at Atlas Butler Heating and Cooling was outstanding! He arrived promptly on 11 May to determine that our Air Conditioner was not working due to insufficient coolant. He returned a second time on 21 May to inspect and service the blower and cooling systems, at which time he performed tests to insure that there were no leaks in the cooling system. He carefully explained everything he was doing, explained how to change our thermostat settings, and insured that there were no problems. The cooling system has been working perfectly. Kyle is a very caring professional, very friendly, very at ease with customers, and has a very pleasing, friendly personality. He impressed us as being very knowledgeable, offering us very useful information concerning our small area dehumidifier. I imagine that everyone has had a wonderful experience when Kyle Forsythe has serviced their furnace or cooling system. We know we will always receive the best of service from Kyle Forsythe at Atlas Butler.

Always amazing service by Atlas Butler! I called today after trying to troubleshoot ourself for two weeks and they booked us an appointment on the same day! Michael called a half hour before he planned to arrive to let us know that he was on his way and was very professional when he arrived. He was quick in diagnosing the problem, left to get the part he needed, and was back quickly with a fix! I felt guilty he had to go down into a crawl space that is located outside to get to our unit, but he kept a smile on the entire time. As soon as everything was fixed, he gave me some recommendations as to how to prevent the error in the future. Best part, covered under warranty! We had Atlas Butler install an additional unit two years ago and they were amazing then as well...it was around Christmas time, with snow, and they were here for a week! They never complained once and we treated them to Chrismas cookies. Sorry Michael, had I known you would be out on the same day I called- I would have made you some treats too! Thanks again, highly recommended!

Was able to get a same day appointment after having to cancel an appointment from another company that kept missing their appointment window (4x!!!). Called Atlas Butler, signed up for a membership plan, and savings took effect immediately (diagnostic fee waived and saved 30% on cost of repair). Atlas Butler called ahead and was actually able to arrive slightly ahead of their promised appointment window. Richard (the field tech) was very professional, explained everything to me, answered all my questions and was even able to point out some other potential issues that I can get looked at as part of the membership plan I signed up for. Extremely happy with the time it took, and was able to get my issue resolved with this one appointment. Extremely happy with Richard, very personable and friendly.

Chris G. came to my house for a routine maintenance check. He found a crack in my system (which he showed me) that can be pretty pricey to fix. Chris let me know the possible options that I had to fix the problem. Being that my system was getting up there in age, I felt my best option was to replace my system. I wanted to jump on the situation immediately. Chris got on the phone and had a Comfort Advisor, Mark D, come to my home within the hour. Talk about immediate service! I was provided several options with no pressure. Atlas Butler helped me through the entire process to make sure I was confident in my purchase. Without hesitation, I was recommend Atlas Butler. Michael G was the Service Pro. He was very professional and courteous. It took him about 1 hour to complete the furnace maintenance. He offered a suggestion about getting a dehumidifier for my home. I am always getting shocked when I turn on lights etc. Michael stated they can install one for a reasonable price. He explained the pros of a dehumidifier and I agreed that I needed this product. I had just mentioned to a friend of mine about getting a dehumidifier because of the dryness of the home. Michael and I set up an appointment for next week to install my new dehumidifier. Michael G is a good asset to your team. I am very happy with the service that Atlas Butler provides. I have and will continue to be a loyal customer.

after paying 6600.00 three years ago to have a new furnace put in my home, we have had nothing but problems with the unit installed, they have been to my home 4 times at the average cost of 180.00 to fix minor things that have gone wrong with the piece of junk they installed, not to put in the 14.95 a month i pay for a service plan, i watched the tech work on the furnace so now i know what the look for when it stops heating again, atlas butler will never set foot back into my house again, and the service plan will be discontinued, nothing but a big rip off, 180 dollars to pull a thermo coupler out and run a piece of sand paper over it and reinstall it. i can do that myself and keep my hard earned money in my pocket.

My scheduled service appointment was completed by Matt S. today. Matt called ahead to say he was on his way, and arrived right on time. Quickly he began the process of checking the heating and A/C units. After he checked the heating unit, he showed me the humidity (water) filter, stating he felt it needed replacing. When I asked the cost, Matt quickly shared that dollar amount. After all the work was done, my cost was only for the replacement water filter because the Premier Member account covered the heating & A/C checks. Thanks Atlas-Butler!

My service pro was outstanding. He was prompt, very professional and friendly. Worked with care and knowledge in providing my service. Fred South completed the job in the amount of time he had told me..He was very respectful in coming into my home and not leaving any dirt and careful to turn off the lights and clean up everything before leaving The AC was working just like new when he left. Initial inspection of our furnace uncovered safety/health issues. The same day I was sitting down at my house with a Sales Rep. The following morning an install crew was putting in a new unit. All of Atlas Butler Staff did great work. There were two small issues found by County Inspector that Atlas Butler corrected the very next day. Not safety issues, but minor condensation line positioning type things. Those things were corrected the next day. I would select Atlas Butler again and I would recommend them to anyone.

my technician was tony barnhart. I am a senior citizen and Tony was so very helpful. In addition to efficiently getting his job done - as busy as he was- I asked him to help me find a water shut-off to my patio. He not only found it, he was able to loosen it-as no one else could do-. We all know how dicey it can be to find a professional service provider. I have worked through a couple for my business, but now have my "1-stop" for both plumbing and HVAC. I had two issues happen within the same week. Atlas Butler handled both professionally. I would also add that their rates are very reasonable. The technicians stayed until the job was completed even late into the evening and were pleasant about finishing the job. Those are special employees that are hard to find.

Craig B was assigned to us to check on the air conditioner and make sure it was ready for cooling season. He was right on time, even called to say he was on the way, and was very respectful of making sure not to track anything into the house, even though it was very muddy in our back yard. He summarized the condition of all the AC parts and changed out our furnace filter for us. All in all, a pleasant experience, as Atlas Butler always is since they installed the unit 15 years ago.

Watch out for these guys.. I was interested in a new water heater i had three quotes. $1050.00 - $920.00 - $1999.00 Guess which one was atlas. All the same job and water tank size.. I asked the guy why their price was so high he said our warranty is better.. actually their warranty was the worst of the of all three quotes. The best part was that the guy actually admitted they are scamming people and told me to go to Home depot for a better product at half the price. What a Joke!!

Tanner was very professional and courteous. Very knowledgeable and both willing and able to explain the details of the HVAC system and Atlas-Butler. Our system required a follow-up visit from another employee which Tanner setup immediately for the very same day. There was a problem with our recent Elite membership not appearing in the system - Tanner took the time to correct that so our membership benefits would be applicable to his service call.

Julio has assisted us twice with our AC unit this summer. He was personable and professional. He also went out of his way to educate me on the diagnostics they use and explain how the system works. I had also worked with a different technician from the same company a few years prior and although its never nice to have a problem with your AC or Furnace all around I have had a great experience dealing with Atlas Butler.
