We first met with Ronnie in October/November 2014, to discuss what type of documentation he would need, so that we could be prepared to make an offer when we found a home to purchase (thinking sometime in the next year or two...). At that initial meeting with Ronnie, we had no idea we would find our new home, get our offer accepted, and close on the new home by January 31, 2015. Ronnie stayed on top of every necessary detail throughout the entire process, and it was especially nice that we could handle many things via email or phone calls. He was professional, efficient, and relaxed throughout the process--even though it was such an accelerated process in our case. Ronnie handled our loan and everything went flawlessly from day one. It went exactly as he said it would and the loan closed promptly, he actually had to wait on us. He shot us straight and walked us through every step, which took the stress out of the process. He is in touch with what is going on with interest rates daily, and advised us on the best way to structure our loan, then locked in our rate. He estimated our closing costs at the beginning and there were no surprises at the closing table. Peoples Home Equity is very professional and Ronnie and Scottie are very personable and put us at ease. Ronnie was absolutely fabulous in helping us find the best loan in an incredibly short amount of time. From the get go, Ronnie was happy to run through some numbers and assist with our options. Once my home sold in a day, the hunt was on and we found several homes, which Ronnie ran paperwork on every single type of loan to make sure we won out. Ultimately, the clock was ticking and we found our house which had to close in 12 days. Ronnie to the rescue!
