June 19, 2017 My daughter and I were involved in a serious accident involving a tractor trailer on the Pennsylvania Turnpike, Northeast Extension. Our car was struck by a merging 18 wheeler truck, crushing my Mazda Miata and trapping my daughter and I under the belly of the truck. I was absolutely terrified. I thought we were going to die. My daughter was pinned from the legs down. One of the wheels was inches away from killing her. It took emergency crews more than two hours to free my daughter from the wreck.
