This review is specific to one incident that occurred on Sept. 8, 2014 at 11:50 am. I called to ask a question about title transfer of a car I had just purchased from a dealer. The person who answered was very unpleasant to start with, and she quickly became just plain rude. She could have easily told me that it cost $15 to add someone to a title, but instead put me through loops. Very unprofessional. Otherwise, I have no complaints about this location.

I have had nothing except positive experiences with AAA and I have been with them for over 40 years. I have had a few accidents over these many years and AAA has done a wonderful job resolving them whether they were my fault or the other driver. The La Mesa office has always has always been professional and friendly.

Poor response time. Called in about 11am. No one answered. Left a voicemail to the recording that said someone would get back to me "by the end of the day". Someone called 5 business days later. 5. Not even the next day. I had already made an appointment with the actual DMV and taken care of the matter.

Beats the heck ou of waiting at the DMV for two hours only to then be greeted by some government employee who would rather be anywhere else on the planet, doing anything else. AAA people are always pretty helpful, and at least have some reasonable level of customer service..

I went to get a copy of my registration. I was worried that 30 minutes would not be sufficient to get it, but alas--I was in and out within 20 minutes of checking in (2:12pm on a Friday during summer). Very nice and helpful staff!!
