I had a huge loss on my property on Feb 15th. A claim was filled immediately. The company could not locate adjusters, kept telling me to do nothing to the property. As a first time home owner I listed, but asked others for advice. Thank goodness I did. Everything they told me was about to put me into some serious trouble. I found a disaster recovery team on my own and begged this ins company to approve it. Finally they did. Now it has been one month and two weeks and I still have zero info. I have bills that are going un-paid because they are telling me not to touch anything. Electric bills over $700 and water bills for over 39,000 gallons of water. Emergency plumbing bills that have not yet been paid, which will likely be reported to MY credit negatively. Now no one will answer. Im at a loss...literally and figuratively. My home is not livable, and they know this. Worst company ever.

that shit is this company, I have a complaint with the company that was in the shop and I been calling the genaral national insurance company because the check sent by just to get the right all over but my rims not want to be considered responsible and do not answer me when I call cost me 3800, in the accident were damaged barely had bought it

Currently on hold for the past 25 minutes because the rep i was on the line with before could not give me straight answers. National General and Countrywide Insurance is for broke people with bad credit. So I am not suprised that customer service sucks. My advice is for you to get your money and credit right so that you wont be forced to be stuck with these horrible coverages. After my year is up I will be leaving this insurance happily.

All i know is my husband could not get any other insurance bc of his driving record. But consistent with other reviews rates go up high after the first accident we had it is expensive but noone else would insure him

this company sucks. got into a car accident and they would not return the phone call about my totaled car from the mechanic for a week. It took them another 2 months to send me my check. horrible experience!
