During my last 23 years of being an Autoglass Vendor to the Insurance industry, I have made the rounds to virtually every Insurance office in Portland, Vancouver and beyond. During my visits it has become quite clear to me about what separates a good agency from and excellent one. The excellent ones hire the right kind of staff who go beyond the call of duty to exceed their insureds needs. They will work tirelessly making sure if you have any type of claim, it’s handled timely and fairly. If it’s a large or catastrophic claim, these superb Insurance offices check back while said claim is being worked on, keeping their clients in the loop. This adds piece of mind to their clients. Excellent agencies will offer free annual reviews to make sure based upon their client’s needs are properly covered explaining all facets of the coverage they have and what they may want. I can say unequivocally that the Mariko Locke agency is one of the excellent agencies. Don’t take my word for it, call Mariko and schedule a FREE consultation. When my husband and I bought our house in Portland in 1998, a friend suggested we check with her agent, Mariko Locke for homeowners insurance. Mariko saw that our 1923 house was insurable and was so great to work with, we switched our car insurance to her State Farm Agency. The times we have had to make claims the staff has been helpful and caring. So much so that when we retired to Lincoln City in 2013, we kept both our house and car insurance with Mariko. Although I stuck with my original policy, I almost paid the extra money just because Howard went out of his way to ensure I got the cheapest quote possible.
