In February 2017 we began the process of securing pre-approval for a home mortgage through NOIC. Between February and May the amount of unprofessionalism that we experienced associated with this process has been absolutely unacceptable. We have had to reach out to our loan officer on several occasions to make sure our home loan was progressing. We were given incorrect information and treated as though our business was an inconvenience. Once we had our offer accepted on a home and paid NOIC for an appraisal, it was not ordered. We had to wait three weeks and make numerous phone calls to have the issue addressed and get the results of our appraisal. Once appraisal had been completed we had assumed that our issues were finally over. At 3pm the day before our closing, we were contacted by our real estate agent and advised that we had not been given the clear to close. Our down payment had already been wired to the title company and the closing time had been scheduled, but a no point had we been advised by NOIC that there were any issues. After numerous calls we were finally told that our loan had not been cleared because during an audit it was discovered that our loan officer had been over-billing us on fees associated with the loan. This process has resulted in numerous interruptions to our work day, time away from our jobs, stress anxiety and extreme frustration. At no point were we even offered an apology by anyone at NOIC for the issues that we are quite clearly not at fault for, but have created numerous inconveniences for us. I have called and asked to speak with management but end up being transferred to our loan officer who treats our home purchase like an inconvenience to her day.

I don’t think I can adequately explain just how amazing working with Kevin has been. Being a 1st time home buyer everything at first seemed insanely scary. As we were going through the process with Quicken it was as though every penny we have & will have until 2098 would be going towards our new home… if that isn’t petrifying, I don’t know what is. After stepping away from the huge conglomerate (pennies in hand) & being referred Kevin, things became MUCH more comfortable & manageable - that is thanks to Kevin! Thought out this process, Kevin experience a plethora of late night & weekend calls where his job was simply to listen to me freak out & help me breath - Kevin answered every single call… on the 1st ring if I remember correctly ha-ha. Kevin always gave us the facts, my options & his opinion (as requested). He did this all without making me feel like an idiot & that my friends, is a HUGE accomplishment as I knew nothing about buying a home. He also never made me feel as through he was taking advantage of my lack of knowledge & our need to close fast! Kevin, explained things in a way we understood & always walked us through the next step in the process ensuring we closed on our timeline. For anyone looking into buying a home, 1st time buyer or not I unequivocally recommend doing so through Kevin at NOIC! Kevin & his team offer unmatched personalized service that make spending all your pennies painless & easy!

Great lender for first time homeowners! Customer support is phenomenal. Process time for them to write it up was very fast too got pre-approved and inside our new house in about a month! The only negative thing was when we went to get pre-approved they had to do multiple "hard inquiries" on my credit report which made it take a hit but after they started falling off my credit went thru the roof. "Figuratively speaking that is lol"

I want to thank Marty Bihn and Karen Ree- for taking amazing care of getting us in our new home in the Toledo area. They were sensitive to our long distance purchase and assisted us each step of the way. I highly recommend and will use them again in the future!

A very easy refi experience with this company (Ownium). Jessie P. and Lisa L. were great. The fees were very low, their communication was good, and the process was very smooth.
