They are the most incompetent company we have ever done business with . We had not one but 2 payments that were made on time that were posted as being 31-60 days and 61 days late and reported to the credit bureau agency. I sent them proof and they were so non caring about immediately fixing their error. I even asked about a letter stating they made an error and they are wanting us to wait from Aug 5 to Aug 12 for it to go through there dispute deparatment. In the meantime this is effecting our Business and the lively hood of us and our 30 employees because of the drop in the credit score due to their error. Our mortgage was transferred to this company. If you have a choice DO NOT USE THEM.

I would give this company a very, very large negative number. I have been trying for over a year to get a loan modification from them and have gotten nothing but incredible frustration. I have sent three applications,, now on my fourth, all the same. Never any progress made, only more stalling. Either my paperwork gets sent to another person, hence start over or they say that more verification is necessary, even after being assured they have everything they need. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Their website is virtually impossible to get any information, specifically FORMS because their server is BUSY. Spoke with a very rude, unhelpful person today, Kathryn, employee ID 19546.

This company is absolutely terrible! Run as quick as you can away from these people, the will manipulate, lie and cheat you. I tried to pay my loan off, they did not accept a good check, kept it in limbo for a month just to get their interest for one more month. They lose payments, charge you a late fee, get the first check cash it plus the replacement the do not tell you so your checking account bounces. Their staff is ineffectual, they lack the ability to maintain in any way what could be considered credible customer service. They do not return calls as promised. My loan got transferred to these guys recently and let me tell you this is the worse ever experience that I have to deal with. Their website sucks - setting up payment, review what has been set up, find information you need - simply ridiculous. I have already spent about 2hr on the phone with them trying to setup one time payment and then regular payment, I guess I was lucky and my one time payment went through but automatic payment is always a problem - issues like wrong amount or payment is not set up at all even though I got confirmation in mail that it is. Simply a nightmare company to deal with. I HAVE to refinance to get away from these jokers.

SLS took over servicing of my loan from Bank of America. Due to a lengthy divorce the loan was included in my bankruptcy in 2015 and not reaffirmed. SLS is reporting the loan on my credit report even though it was discharged in the bankruptcy. I have notified them twice of this error and today they stated a research ticket was opened, sent to the wrong group, and then closed without obtaining validation of the bankruptcy. I am going to fax them the bankruptcy papers myself and have notified my attorney. My next call is to the fair credit reporting agency to let them know of the fraudulent reporting SLS is doing.

Wow where can I start. No point in calling them. A nice but ignorant person answers and pretends to be helpful. I submit paper work by e mail which is pretty much instant and they even confirm with a robot confirmation. Means nothing. They claim several days later that they receive and them blame you for not being timely. This went on for 8 months. My son, 88 year old aunt and myself. Just recovering from a liver transplant. Meant nothing. They set foreclosure dates, putting you under extreme stress only to post pone it. Little did I know that I was being set for a scam.

They are thieves. They are chargig a "sub-division tax-fee" on my escrow, and my home is 100 years old, my neighborhood is even older, and I did not make any property changes to sub-divide. My tax assessor said they have never billed or charged a "sub-division tax/fee" to my home, or neighborhood or area. SLS did this to increase my escrow to make my payments less affordable. Because I found out they were chargig this tax-fee they would not take my mortgage payments and I had to find other means to pay so i would not be late. They are rude and are also charging illegal fees.

Unfortunately, my loan servicing was acquired by SLS. SLS made a "mistake" (or more likely, systematic theft) in the order of several thousand dollars in their favor. After talking to multiple rude customer service reps, and being hung up on multiple times, I was finally able to get a manager who was helpful. Unfortunately, I had to take 2 days off of work to sort out a mistake that SLS had made and get them to acknowledge it. My recommendation is to get a mortgage from a company (not SLS) who will not sell your loan.

Citi sold my loan to this company and I NEVER fell behind in my payment. My credit score "757". I have made payments by the website using my checking account. After 30 days I noticed it didnt come out of my account. I called cust svc and they took the payment over the phone, yet they reported I was 30 days late which lowered my credit score. I tried again to use website and same thing happened again. Not 10days, but I complained that the website isnt recording payments. They need to fix that problem!!!

SLS did help me with a Deed in Lieu of Foreclosure. DO NOT expect quick service on anything but returning phone calls. No one you speak with is responsible for handling the issue you call about and blame will be thrown around to another department. I signed my final papers 10 months after starting the process I was told would take 6-8 months. I have been waiting five months for those papers to be recorded and a copy delivered to me.

This company just bought my loan and they are absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with. They had a busy signal on their phone for 5 days straight. Their website is not compatible with Macs of half of the normal browsers. And when you call customer service they are totally unhelpful and rude. I am going to do everything I can to get my mortgage bought out by someone else. This company is one step short of being fraudulent.

Worst personal experience I have ever had. They took over a HELCO from Etrade Bank, my brokerage and have been a disaster. Now they are whacking my credit and I have both the BBB and the Colorado Attorney General involved in my case! Incompetent, lazy, thieves that I am so angry at, I wish I had the time and money to put them out of business. A company like this should be illegal and not allowed to operate anywhere!

If there was a score below one star I would give it to them. My loan was transferred to them from another company but before they reconcile their own transaction they send me a payment request three weeks after I paid. Information on their own website is inconsistent to the letter they write. This company would be a great case study for poor customer experience and a company that had a great potential for failing.

WORST COMPANY EVER I have been making odd payments all along and in December they REJECTED my payment and provided no reason for it. I filed a complaint with the BBB, which did NOTHING because SLS is not accredited, no wonder they have no IDEA of what they are doing. I want ANSWERS to WHY SLS rejected my payment, it makes no sense. If you want to be paid, you MUST accept payments, not reject them.

I was notified in December 2016 that my mortgage was going to be transferred to this company on January 3, 2017. By January 18, 2017 I had to call them since I had received nothing from them in order to make payments (online or otherwise). After I called and obtained the account number, I enrolled in online payments only to find out that they charge $10 to make payments online! Unbelievable!

This company has some of the worst possible customer service. The agents are not trained well and not motivated to provide service. When you request a manager, they maybe reply after 48 hours and stonewall any attempts to work with a customer. I would NEVER initiate business with them. Sadly, my HELOC was transferred to them. They are deplorable at their Colorado location.

They did not pay my homeowners insurance nor my property taxes even though I had an escrow, and then purchased their own that was 4x the amount of my current insurance. I made payments myself on my homeowners and my insurance agent was able to get them to cancel the insurance they bought, but that was all due to my excellent agent. They were a major hassle.

One star is being so generous! Thieving Con Artists!! I was given a Loan Modification at 3.25%. They have been charging me 3.75%. I called over 20 times and faxed over Loan Documents several times and they still cant get it right. The excuse is always " i will put in a order for them to adjust" ... Most incompetent human beings hired to deal with!!!!

If I could give zero stars, I would. Our loan was sold to SLS. We have been trying very hard to pay down our loan and almost every month I pay the loan, they process it incorrectly. I wish someone would open a lawsuit against them so perhaps they will actually conduct themselves like a true company should.

My loan was just transfered on Feb I call make payment with check thru phone they waive fee of 9.99 for customer just transfered and lady send me papers for automatic payment. Cust service was helpfull and I just read all bed reviews and I was expecting to talk with some rude person. Maybe I was lucky.

My mortgage was sold to SLS and I had countless issues with them. They held me up in my refinancing, and only relented after I filed a complaint with the NYS Dept of Financial Services. The other negative reviews reflect my experience as well. AVOID THIS COMPANY IF AT ALL POSSIBLE!

Worst company ever our mortgage was sold to them in January of 16 nothing but hassles and now refusing my regular payment unless I pay an extra 244.00 because they messed up and paid my insurance twice and now want me to double up on escrow payments to fix their mistake.

Biggest jerkoffs I have ever dealt with. Laura customer service rude. They want to prolong the situation it takes them 30 days to review one paper and let you know the information u still have to give. Customer service sucks never speak to anyone that has half a brain.
