In early August, 2015, our family began looking for property outside of Minnesota to retire. Our realtor Jason Curtis with the Limbird Team recommended we first contact Chris Davis at Cornerstone for mortgage preapproval. We provided Chris with the financial information he needed and he was able to provide us our mortgage preapproval amount that same day, allowing us to begin the search for our new home. After numerous trips south to view properties, we placed a bid on a home in NW Arkansas early October 2015. Chris Davis, Rachel Collier and his team immediately went to work putting all the documents together, inspections, utility transfers and closing arrangements with the title company for an early November closing. What was unique with our situation was the seller/owners were out of the country and we lived in Minnesota. Cornerstone put together everything necessary to complete the transaction remotely at closing, keeping us informed in real time throughout the entire process. Everything was handled exceeding our expectations, no detail was overlooked, all documents, forms, insurance and transfers were completed without a problem. In the months since, we have contacted Chris for additional information and he was always available to answer any questions on both night and weekends. The before, during and after service was over the top. I would recommend Chris Davis and his team at Cornerstone for anyone looking for a mortgage in the multistate area he represents.

We were referred ny our daughter, you is in the title business, and really likes the company. We went throuhh the application process and was waiting for rates and such. We also contacted another company and usaa to compare rates. USAA ran our paperwork and approved us withban APR in about one day. We were still waiting on a rate from Cornerstone. We finally took the rate given by USAA and told Cornerstone to cancel the process. Chris started bad-mouthing USAA, and said we would get screwed by them. He was very rude and disrespectful to my wife, who was just trying to end their wasted time. I doubt I will ever use or recommend Cornerstone again.

Cornerstone is a great company full of amazing people, and best of all they have an incredibly organized system to make sure you are kept in the loop throughout the entire mortgage process. Getting a mortgage loan takes some work, and this work can be stressful, confusing, and no fun at times. When you work with Cornerstone they change as much of that as possible by keeping you feeling like you are informed and keeping you excited about what comes at the end of all of this preparation, which is getting to own your dream home!
