EXPENSIVE & POOR QUALITY WORK! If you wonder how this company has so many positive reviews, let me explain my experience. They came out to do some work for me, didn’t do what they promised, but charged me the same extremely expensive fee. When I complained at how expensive their services were, the owner, Lee, offered to come to do a different job for me for $1.00 plus a good review. Ah-ha! It’s all about gimmicks! Yes, I was willing to do it to get the services. Unfortunately, the offer was made on Thursday and apparently was good for that one weekend. My tenant wasn’t going to be home that particular weekend, but I offered to give Lee my tenant’s number to call and schedule the work, but he didn’t want any of that! He never called me back like he promised. Now, after several months have passed, I have never heard from him again. I guess it’s good that he wouldn’t go, because I really didn’t want to lie for this company, but I understand why people would - the offer of work for a dollar plus a good review is very tempting! Actually, I’m glad because I got a great quote from another company specializing in the area needing repair which is MUCH less than I was given by Craftsman Direct. If you just have more money than you know what to do with, this is the company for you. If not, find someone else to do your work.

This is the second time I’ve used Craftsman Direct for handyman work. I had my deck sanded and stained, exterior power washed, and front porch cement re-painted (plus huge crack removed). After working with these guys a second time, I can confidently say they do not cut corners. They will make sure the job is done right and that you are happy with it. For example, we had problems finding the right color for the deck. Lee and Vesko had already purchased and applied stain when Lee suggested that the color will not do the deck justice. They took pictures, ran back to Lowe’s, and found colors that worked. You just get the sense that they’re looking out for your interest instead of trying to make a quick buck. Work aside, Lee and Vesko are incredibly professional and a pleasure to be around. I definitely recommend these guys. Thanks a lot for your work and for making my move that much easier.

I am so thrilled that I found Craftsman Direct to put in a new floor in my home! Alex and his crew did an amazing job. The precision in the work on the base molding is unbelievable, especially the detail with the quarter molding that glides around all the nooks and cranny of my doors and stairs. If you get Craftsman Direct to do work in your home you will be thrilled by the quality of the work and the price was very reasonable. In addition, everyone was very nice, friendly, and extremely neat. Alex is also very knowledgeable in all areas of housing, esp how the housing market works; he helped me prioritize jobs and pricing based on my current situation (recently laid off and may have to put my house on the market, though I sure hope not!).

What pleased and surprised me the most was how quickly Lee responded, how consistently he did exactly what he said he was going to do, and how painless he made the overall process. I have worked with many construction "professionals" over the last 25 years, and very few of them deserved that description. Lee is the exception to the rule. He has earned his five-star rating at every level. He is affordable, professional, knowledgeable, and I would recommend him highly to anyone who wants the job done right the first time.

I googled for someone to assist with some siding repairs. From our first conversation on the phone Lee was pleasant and helpful. He arrived on time and took care of my initial repair so quickly I decided to ask him to look at a few things inside the house as well. He took care of every issue without complaint and even took the time to explain things to me about the repair. I will be telling all my friends about him and will definitely be using his services again and again.

This contractor is great! Last year when I lived in Raleigh, NC I had them come out and repair our roof. A lot of other contractors came in really high and this contractor came right in under our budget. The crew that came out was courteous not only to us but also our neighbors.
