Buying a home is an essential investment- renting is such a waste of money!!!! However, buying can be very overwhelming, especially for people with credit issues, past short sale nightmares from a previous marriage, and IRS payment plans. The amount of paperwork needed, explanations of debts, and other documentation can seem never ending. Patrick was always there with a way to get what we needed. He always found a solution. Patrick was very reassuring that our loan would be funded and my husband and I felt like he was more of our “bad ass attorney” rather than a loan officer. That’s the way he acted- always advocating for us, making us feel like the home was within reach, and pumping us up when we were discouraged. His sense of humor and wit made the whole thing so much easier to withstand. When I felt like crying because I needed another document from the IRS, Patrick made me laugh and actually sat with me in his office on hold with them for over 90 minutes so we could get what I needed. Less than 45 days after submitting an offer, we are in our home! Patrick and his staff are awesome! I would recommend them to anyone looking to buy, especially first time buyers or those with a little credit issues. Thanks New American Funding!!

We relocated from some 3000 miles away to Reno, Nevada. We found a house relatively quickly and Patrick and his team worked hard from securing our pre-approval to the the final loan. Be forewarned, securing a home loan is a long and involved process and you will have to obtain and send many documents. Sometimes more than once. Just do it. Nature of the beast I guess. However, Patrick made himself available in early morning hours when needed. He was able to secure a Mobile Notary while we were traveling/moving to Reno so we could close on our house and made himself available while we were signing docs. Not sure how many Lenders would do the same. We would highly recommend New American and specifically Patrick to help you get your new home.
