From the day I first spoke with Gina Baker, I knew that I would choose to use Alderus to get the financing I needed to buy my first home. Even over the phone, I could tell that Gina not only knows the ins and outs of mortgages, but she truly cares about meeting the needs of her clients. When I walked into the Alderus offices, I was warmly greeted, offered a beverage, and waited only a minute or two before meeting with Gina. She took the time to go over numerous scenarios based on a variety of factors, and explained things in a way that an inexperienced buyer could thoroughly understand. After a nearly 2-hour face-to-face discussion about my particular situation, I was convinced that going any other way for financing would not be in my best interests. Over the next 5 weeks, Gina and her team got me through from pre-qualification to closing on my new home. Each person involved was incredibly helpful every step of the way. Gina, Julie, Shaun, Seth, Linda, and Matt (I’m sure I missed a name!) not only kept me in the loop as to exactly what was needed next with each passing day, they graciously worked with my very odd schedule, and answered each of the numerous questions I had, no matter how seemingly inconsequential. When I closed on my home, I felt as if they were truly excited and happy for me. At every point along the way of this journey, I felt as if Gina and the Alderus team saw me as a person, not just a business transaction. What is more, even though she has no responsibility to do so, Gina continues to answer questions for me as I am processing everything that has taken place. Gina Baker and the team at Alderus do business the way it should be done – with compassion and grace. I would highly recommend anyone use Gina and Alderus for their mortgage needs!

I had the exact same loan available to me at Navy Federal, but I chose to stay with Jon because he fought for me day after day to match the "Big Bank"...why would I walk away from someone like that? He is a fighter and will earn your business. Furthermore, we used him in the past for another loan. We were in a terrible position, trying to use a VA loan to get a property in Lake Las Vegas when prices were at their lowest. Nobody wanted to touch us.
