I have been with RBCU for approximately 15years. Throughout the years I have used RBCU for home loans, vehicle loans, personal and business banking; and have always received excellent service at the Richfield location. I recently moved and the Bloomington location is now closer to my home and business. Recently I stopped in the bank to deposit a few checks and make some adjustments to my online banking preferences. I wanted to add one of my business accounts to my primary login and was told this was not possible. I advised the customer service representative I already had this ability with other accounts and my Spouses account works fine with these settings. The representative advised me that he would be changing all of our settings to exclude these accounts. This is information we already had. Even after threatening to close all of our accounts he made no attempt to resolve the situation or pass on to management. Is your bank trying to provide a poor level of customer service to long time customers. I was absolutely amazed that closing my accounts was no problem at all and he would gather the money from the vault. Upon leaving RBCU, now very angry, I stopped by Wells Fargo and they were more than willing to open new accounts and accommodate the simple request I had. I intend to begin migrating my accounts to a different bank that is willing to provide the level of customer service I expect from the institution that handles my money. I also intend to inform all of my family members of the poor service at this location and will recommend they too find a different banking institution.
