I just opened an account with them while switching from a major bank. The people at the Cambridge and Medford location are very friendly and helpful. They seemed to actually care and to make sure your questions and needs are met before you left. Their online banking and telephone systems are not as polished as the large national banks but I think they make up for it with their friendly staff and fewer fees. They also offer a small amount of interetst on your checking account. It is not much but it is still better being given a few cents here and there instead of being surprised with $5 fees here and there at larger banks.

Amazing company; i had a problem with paperwork on a mortgage and the team at US Alliance Federal Credit Union were truly fabulous in solving the problem - they were proactive, creative & communicated with me throughout the challenge. Not the kind of service one would ever get - or even expect to get- from your usual bank. KUDOS!!!!

Great Bank - I transferred from Bank of America and it has been refreshing! I love the fact that anyone in MA can join - most credit unions are pretty closed. Just applied for a car loan this week and got a smoking rate!
