I went in to usaa to change my debt card to my new lastname and the ladys st the front desk was rude. I asked to change it so she sent me into a room to talk to a computer and the man on the computer asked me whats my husbands name i answered it and he said wrong im sure i know who my husbamd is. So i thought maybe my ex husbsnd so i saod that and rudly he said you got it wrong the first time so i xant help you and hung up on me. So i went back to the ladys and said can i speak to a human and they laugh and said sit down and sfter 20 minutes of waiting a man comes up and helps me then im sotting with him and he says he couldnt help me because my profile says im engaged not married well thats why i went up there to change it and to get a new card in my NEW name. The man said your husband will have to call he is a soldier he cant just answer his phone whenever then i got him on the line after trying for 5 minutes and the man said oh yah i cant acceptt that he has to call our phones finally after being there for over a hour i got everything done. Oh and i am having a refund come to me it was going to be in my bank a few days ago so i called and they said nope there isnt anything but the sender said they sent it out and it says its at the bank waiting for them to put it in my account so clwarly there just sitting on there butts not doing a damn thing. This is the worst bank i seen in a while. The only good thing about them is the atm least thats not broke.

The thing is, what they offer no other bank does, its hard to leave. The banking options, insurance policies, etc. Their customer service is terrible! They will blame you every chance you get, even though it is not your fault and they have nothing to offer you (including an apology) when things do go wrong, and it truly is their fault. Also, the reps will yell back at you and talk over you when describing a problematic situation. Take this into great consideration before opening an account with USAA, problems do not get solved and you are to blame.

We have been members since 2005, and USAA has lowered their quality of service dramatically since then. The customer service representatives have become rude and unhelpful. Also, we rarely call them to use our home or auto insurance, but when we do it is an emergency. They have been unhelpful both times. My wife and I, both military officers, have noticed it. Maybe the company should not focus on commercials that "feel good" and actually provide quality service to those who are the backbone of their company "the military."

I run two auto body shops, and I have dealt with USAA several hundred times. Other financial and insurance companies have totaled vehicles which could have been repaired, while I have seen USAA cover severe damages. I coordinate with them weekly on all of our mutual customers, and they are always happy to help. Having been in the auto repair industry for a while, this company is at the top of my list for insurance and financing. USAA is one of the few companies who has advertising I believe.

Never had one issue with USAA. Now for the first time a problem has developed. Now, it’s not a big issue for some but for me, it unfortunately was. Now I am stuck in a bind. It’s something that definitely I can get passed, but now I have to endure pain that I had planned to avoid. Then... all they can tell me is we apologize, have a nice day? Really? Well, we have annotated it in our notes. I should have gone with my gut and gone with someone else. Just really upset with them right now.

I work near the physical USAA building and usually go for a run around the area of my job and USAA has a dirt track on an open field with lots of weeds and I sometimes see people walking there, one day I decide to incorporate the track as part of my daily 4 miles and was stopped by a security guard who told me I was not allowed to be on the property. I have ran on that track for years with no problems, I guess USAA isnt wanting to be neighborly to the local community.

USAA is a great bank. that stands behind their members.I can only give them 4 stars though because their mortgage department sucks-especially if your buyer is going through USAA.They canned a settlement 3x WITHOUT PERMISSION of the seller-ME- and cost me a fortune due to the delays. They should stick to banking and insurance.Its what they started as-an insurance company. USAA ARE YOU LISTENING??

I cannot express my frustration adequately with your automated service. It has dropped me three times when it was supposed to hand me off to an agent. There is no way to get past this system and talk directly to a human being. I have a money transfer going to the wrong address and I need human intervention to correct this. Holds a government check for now going on 7 days. I cant up my amount or contact anyone who knows what the hell they are doing. Drive to the bank twice to be turned away then was told to call in to up my atm withdrawal amount say on hold first time 10 min nobody came back to the line called in againnn and was told i have to wait to up my limit. useless bank
