On 10/4/17, I deposited a mobile check. I was contacted by the fraud department the next day as my account had been flagged for a “potentially fraudulent mobile deposit”. I was told the check would be held until 10/13/17 as Chase (the issuing bank) refused to verify funds. ENT also informed me that all my cleared funds and transfers had been held, but that the holds would be lifted at the time of our phone call (10/5/17). On 10/6/17 my bank card was declined at the grocery store. I contacted ENT and was told my account was still being held due to the “potentially fraudulent mobile deposit” and that even my cleared funds were being held until 10/13/7! After speaking extensively with a representative (20 minutes on the phone), I was told my cleared funds would be made available immediately, though the funds from the mobile deposit check would still be held until 10/13/17 as stated. Much to my surprise, I went back to the grocery store today (10/7/17) and found out that my cleared funds are STILL BEING HELD. I have ZERO access to ANY of the funds in my account which is absolutely unconscionable considering I can’t speak to a rep about this until 10/10/17 due to the holiday weekend. How will I be buying groceries and paying bills this week, one might ask? I won’t be, thanks to ENT. In addition, I had the check issuer contact Chase (the issuing bank) and was given a telephone number for which the ENT rep could call and verify funds on the check immediately. I gave that number to the ENT rep and they refused to call. ENT later admitted they never, not once, bothered contacting Chase because (this is a direct quote) “Some banking institutions don’t like to play well with other banking institutions”. Instead, ENT chose to freeze my account, flag the check as potential fraud, made no attempt to verify funds, and is leaving me in the lurch without access to my account for the entirety of the next week. You’d better believe I’ll be making a stop at a branch the morning of 10/13/7 to pull every last dime out of the account and closing it. I will NEVER recommend that anyone bank with ENT.

Been w Ent since 1985. Love this credit union. They understand and work w you individually and they dont rip you off like mainstream banks. You can trust Ent 100%. Today they caught a fraudulent charge that was about to be made on my card w/ in hours and sent me a new one. Would give 100 ☆`s if i could!
