I recently had a new roof installed by Avalon Building Concepts. . As a retiree, I need to make sure my money is spent on the right things, and I get the most for my money. Avalon was recommended to me from a couple of sources. Their estaminet process was complete. I was shown reviews by past customers, their license, insurance, warranty, product line, etc. It was a complete process, and very professional. I also got two other estaminets, one was exactly the same (warranty was lower), and one the cost was lower. I decided to go with Avalon, because I felt I was getting more for my money. The crew came and worked from 9:00 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. the first day. They were quick, professional, and hard workers. I was mowing the grass and stayed away from the house until they left for the day. The job was not completed, (I was told it would take two days, so I wasn’t surprised), so before I mowed I walked around the house, to see what I had to pick up before I could mow. I was stunned to find there was absolutely nothing in my grass, no nails, paper, not even a piece of single!! They finished my roof the next day, and the results were amazing. I am very pleased. The salesman returned to make sure I was satisfied with the job, and I also received a follow up survey (from another employee) to make sure I was satisfied with the results. This company is professional, and trustworthy, I will call them first if I need any more work done, and they will be the first company I recommend to family and friends. Thanks Avalon!!

I am so pleased with the service and quality. I noticed a hole in my roof when I went up to my attic to do some electrical work which halted me in my tracks. I rarely go in my attic so it was a shock to see. I called Avalon and was able to schedule an appointment quickly for the same day. David arrived on time and was extremely friendly. He went right to our roof to take measurements and crawled up in our attic to access the damage. He explained everything from the shingle Avalon would use to how they would go about repairing my roof to assure me that I would no longer have to worry. The way David handled himself gave me confidence to trust him. A couple of days passed and I got the phone call that my roof was going to be put on the next day. The crew that arrived early in the morning were extremely professional. The crew leader was very good. He did everything I asked him and keep his crew moving. They were very careful to pick up everything they brought or removed. A guy was even sent to my home after the fact to do a final walk around to make sure everything was done correctly and I was satisfied.

I called Avalon for a free estimate on some water damage to my bathroom walls due to a leaking roof. I live in one of those old homes with low roofline in the bathroom, and was told by the contractor who built my garage that the roof could not be raised to install a shower. Well, when I mentioned this to Justin, he surveyed the roofline outside, and convinced me that Avalon could do the job. I was ecstatic at the thought! After the all the financing was done, which was a pretty easy process, they began the work, and raised the roof and installed my new shower! No more leaky roof. Their work is quality, and the service is too. Whatever issues came up, Justin was there and they made it right. They also installed custom gutters, and two windows. My family and I are very pleased. I will definitely use this company again for the future projects I want to get done. And highly recommend them to anyone. Avalon Rocks!

WARNING!!!!!!! DO NOT USE THE COMPANY. It took Avalon 4 month to do roofing, siding and windows???? I singed the papers for them to start work on 4/13/17 and as of today, I still have leftover siding scraps and nails laying all around.... I had to call the cable company out to reattach two cable wires the siding crew ripped out of the wall.... we had to have Consumers out to fix some wires because the siding crew ripped it off of the house part ways an it was sparking and causing all of the electricity in the house to cut off. Most of the time it was just one guy and his girlfriend doing the siding. Not only did it take them 4 month to do the job, they have to come back out to reattach some of the siding that has falling off twice already. Now they send a bill that says that if the past due account is over ten days , they will charge 1-1/2 % monthly service fee.... hahaha Job NOT well done guys!!!!!

There is not a more difficult person than me to satisfy and Avalon did it. I put them under a microscope in protecting my gutter guards and landscaping, as well as cleanup, and they did a magnificent job. We have remodeled most of our house and wanted the roof to measure up to the rest - they made it happen, in spades. The people were polite, they followed up on all my concerns before hand and during the time they were here, and they were price competitive, despite everything they had to do to make me happy. I have walked the roof, inch-by-inch, and found nothing about which to complain. They actually built boxes around my hydrangeas to protect them and the fine mesh of my gutter covers did not have so much as an impression. When they left, you could not even tell they had been there except for a beautiful new roof. Kudos to Avalon.

This company refused to provide my wife an estimate to install siding on our rental property "unless her husband was there." Apparently, in their eyes, women are not capable of making informed decisions on their own. Update: The company has called and insisted that they were not demanding that a man be present because of sexism. They claim it is their policy to only provide estimates if both home owners are present. It should be noted that this company calls incessantly, even after we have told them to stop calling and that we do not want to do business with them. They called us at least five times before we indicated we wanted an estimate and have called us at least five more times since we have told them we do not want to do business. If you do not want to be harassed stay away from these people.

Overall I was very pleased with Avalon as a company and the job that they did for me. They came out for a free estimate, gave me a pretty good deal and put up my gutters within a couple of days. They messed up one area and had to come back and fix it but they were able to return to my house that day (within an hour of when I called in fact). My only real issue was that they gave me an approximate date of when they would put up the gutters and told me they would call me the day before but I never received a call and basically came home to find that I had new gutters which was a nice surprise but I would have liked to receive some notice and or be there when the job was being done.

We were losing shingles over the last few years, but the straw that broke the camels back was when it started leaking in my favorite room. We reached out to a few different places and Avalon was the only one that responded. We were glad that Jeremy went on the roof and told us how old the shingles were. The three seasons room is not leaking anymore and we are glad that we found a company that we could put our money behind. We were appreciative that we had such a quick response. We had buckets and towels out just preparing for the next rain storm. The crew they had out here working on the house was fantastic. They were very courteous, personable and accommodating.

I see a big change in my windows. I can see the whole neighborhood now. Our representive Lakeshia explained all the details and shows us examples of different windows to make the best selection for us. The installation crew was here at 8 am even though we had just had storms the night prior and had no power. They brought a generator and when they were not using it allowed us to utilize it to cool our fridge. When they were done they took all the scrap with them and cleaned up well. I have noticed my air conditioner does not run all the time anymore as it is cooler in my home. I am so happy with Avalon.

Avalon installed a roof on my home and garage last year. This year I had a front entry door installed and I am very happy with how it looks. The crew for the roof was here bright and early and worked throughout the day. They worked together really well. The clean up was best no nails laying around. The front entry door was done this year by two very professional friendly installers. They asked a few questions during the installation got right to work and knew exactly what they were doing. They were finished in two hours. The front door looks amazing and I love the way it looks.

This company was great to work with! The sales guy Dave was fantastic. Helped us deal with our insurance company and got our roof covered due to wind damage done this spring. The communication after that was a little rough but not entirely their fault as my husbands cell stopped working. The crew came out and did a fantastic and quick job in one afternoon. And Dave stopped by after to make sure everything was done correctly. Over all our experience with Avalon was as smooth as it could have been. I would absolutely recommend this company.

All employees that we were in contact with, from the person on the phone setting up our appointment, to the salesman, to the roofing crew, they were all very polite, knowledgeable, and all seemed to go the "extra mile" to address our concerns. The crew came on time, the dumpster was put in place, old roof removed, new roof put on, excellent clean up, and the job was done, the dumpster taken away, and the only thing left behind was the advertising sign in the yard! All done in a day and a half:)

We just had our new roof installed and are very happy with the outcome as well as the customer service. Jesus, our salesman, was very informative and when he told us the time frame we were very happy that what he said...he meant! We had the whole job done in one day and the clean-up was great. We went from interview with Jesus, to installed roof in less than a week. The crew did a great job. Would definitely recommend Avalon Building Concepts to anyone.

We had our roof repaired around 6-7 months ago and according to our contractor we found out it was not repaired at all. We have contacted Avalon to try to get this corrected and finally someone came out and said that in fact it was not repaired. Since then no one has come out to fix what was not repaired the first time. This is ridiculous. I would not use them again and if you do I would check the work. Still to this day no one has come out.

Avalon was able to offer a competitive quote while offering superior customer service and a fast completion time for my roof and siding project. Moreover, the GAF Golden Pledge Warranty that they offered was superior to other warranties that I could find. Larry the project manager was easy to communicate with and answered all of my questions. The crew, particularly Mickey, did a great job and were friendly and courteous. The roof looks fantastic.

Even though we have decided not to have our roof done this year. We are very thankful we had Randy from Avalon come out and give us a quote. He was very professionally from the moment he pulled in our driveway till the moment he left. He explained the product they use and how they do business in detail. Avalon moved very quickly on ordering and delivering the windows. When they arrived they were installed over just two days (15 windows) very quickly, very efficiently and with no mess. One window was misaligned and one screen was damaged but these were fixed within a couple of weeks and all 15 windows look great and are functioning perfectly. We would recommend Avalon to any one who asks for a reference.
