We can not say enough to express how pleased we are with Vanderhoof Roofing for the roof installation at our boathouse. We were very concerned about picking the right contractor and the right materials to preserve the architecture of the unique home. Ed Wright our estimator and project manager for the job went above and beyond to make sure that everything went perfect for the job. The professionalism and attention to detail by Ed and the entire Vanderhoof crew was much appreciated. They also made extra effort to cover all of our stonework and decking with plywood to avoid any damage. The end result is fantastic. We would choose Vanderhoof again for any roofing needs and would highly recommend them.

Did a great job on my roof and gutters. Found out the problem was a ventilation problem and came up with a permanent solution that would not compromise the shingles like the last ones. They came when scheduled, materials and dumpster arrived on time. They protected the house and landscaping around the perimeter and left the grounds the same as before they came. The guys working was polite, worked very well together and was quiet, the neighbors appreciated this. They were very protective of the neighbors driveway and was watched by a safety inspector onsite, nice touch. I would recommend this company to all, the price was fair for the amount of work done and the work and shingle warranty is good.

My husband and I called Van Derhoof after our roof on our 1870 house started leaking this past spring. We had a great experience with them, starting with Jim, our Salesman. We unexpectedly ran into extra costs during the 5 days they were here, but Andy was wonderful to work with! He was in constant communication with us on costs, supplies, timeframe, etc.. The rest of the team was professional, hard working and skilled at what they do! We live on a busy street and anyone that would pass by would comment on who was doing the roof. Each person told us we were in good hands with Van Derhoof to work on our old house. I would highly recommend Van Derhoof to anyone.

Van Derhoof roofing did the roof, siding, and gutters on my house. They were extremely professional and their workmanship was impeccable. It was for these reasons, and knowing that they have been around for over 75 years made us choose them for this big job. It makes me feel good knowing that they will be around to stand by their work if there is ever anything that needs fixing in the future. You absolutely can not say that about other companies out there. A roof may be one of the biggest investments a homeowner will ever make. I would tell anyone to trust Van Derhoof for this investment . It is worth the price you pay to get that service and security.

It was certainly a challenge for my crew to install my new roof. It was the week before Thanksgiving and we got two feet of snow half way through the job. However thanks the the waterproof barrier, my house was protected. My crew was professional and experienced. I talked with the forman every morning to see how things were going. The sales person, Brian, is knowledgeable and attentive, answering all my concerns. And most importantly, they did the job right the first time. One of my philosophies is, you get what you pay for. Vanderhoof was not the cheapest, but do you really want the cheapest for your home when you can get the best?

We are very pleased with the quality of the work involved in installing our new roof. The new roof looks great. The installers were experts and were great to work with. The crew made a special effort to protect our landscaping, and all of the workers were as neat as could be expected during the 8 days of working on our roof. They cleaned up the site completely when they were finished. I highly recommend considering this company if you need to have your roof replaced. We would certainly use them again (but probably will not have to with a 50-year labor warranty and a lifetime materials warranty).

The work was done by a decent sized group of roofers that worked quickly and efficiently to complete the job.
