We had an extremely positive experience with Mr. Cardoza and would recommend him without reservation. My husband and I contacted Mike regarding a debt collection issue that was causing us a significant amount of stress. Mike was extremely sympathetic to our situation and definitely seemed to care about what was happening to us. More importantly, he also listened closely and asked a lot of probing questions to better understand the case - it became clear that he wanted to understand every aspect in detail and gave us clear and unbiased feedback... both when circumstances were and were not in our favor. Additionally, he made it pretty easy to work with him. Mike was extremely responsive by both email and phone, and his website had a number of options that allowed us to provide documentation and exchange information very easily. Finally - and to his great credit - Mike stood by us even when our case became much less financially attractive to him personally (it became apparent that the agency we were dealing with was largely insolvent). He continued to press on our behalf, and followed up even after the case itself was settled to ensure that everything was fully resolved. This is definitely something that not all attorneys would do, and it speaks highly of his ethical standards and professionalism. To sum up, we very much appreciated the chance to work with Mike and would recommend him wholeheartedly to anyone in need of these skills.
