I recently purchased a home in Mission Viejo California that was built in 1971. Unfortunately the home had the original furnace and it was 44 years old and no central air and or window or wall air conditioning units were installed. I asked my Realtor for a recommendation for a heating and air conditioning contractor. He gave me a name of a local South Orange County full service provider. The estimate had several choices of heating and air conditioning systems. The brand names of equipment used for the estimate was not any names I had herd of before. The company did not offer asbestos removal and new air duct work was more than the cost of the furnace alone. After the first estimate, 6 other companies come out to the house and gave me estimates. Not one of the 6 additional estimates were complete which means that I would have had to pay hidden costs after the contract was signed and work had already started. That is not good business ethics and practices and the prices quoted on all 7of the “alleged” full systems were over $24,000.00. I was about to give up on the process of installing a new central air and heat system with new air duct work. I had to pick up my car from a routine service from my mechanic I called a taxi alternative ride service and when the driver arrived to pick me up, he said he was born, raised and lived Mission Viejo all his life. I asked the diver “do you know an honest , reputable and affordable heating and air conditioning contractor?” The driver replied “yes, I grew up with him and he lives 1 block away from your house. His Name is Cody Novini and his company is called So Cal Air Flow Pros. Cody is a former Marine who specialized as a jet fighter engine mechanic. Marines are hard workers and they only perform tasks and missions one way and that is right way. I am a huge supporter of Veteran owned and Veteran staffed companies. Active military members and Veterans risk their lives to protect our country, our citizens and our freedoms. So Cal Air Flow Pros reviewed my 7 estimates and confirmed they were not complete estimates and listed what was missing from each estimate along with the added costs for the missing items and services. Cody Novini quickly provided me with a honest estimate with brand name products and options that were not offered by the competition and the price quoted on the estimate included the asbestos removal. No hidden fees or costs. 100% transparency. 100% one stop shop with full service. Beyond competitively priced versus the competition. The installation including asbestos removal was 2 days turn around and I was thrilled with the quality of the products, the quality of the installation and the affordability of my new central air and heat system. The performance of the new central air and heat is second to none. The air flow rate of the heat and air conditioning is as strong as a jet engine. The cost of running the system is very affordable. Low gas bills and low electricity bills are due to extremely energy efficient and high quality affordable equipment and proper installation of the equipment and air duct work.
