I have been a customer of Golden Seal since 2005 when I purchased a new furnace and air conditioner. We also have used their annual maintenance plan and both the furnace and air conditioner continue to run as good as new. Their maintenance staff have always been friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. When my 16 year old water heater decided to stop working last week, I called Golden Seal to see if they also sold and installed water heaters. They did and I was referred to Matt Richardson who offered to come to our house the following day. Matt inspected our laundry room and had concerns that the new, larger model water heaters may not fit in our small space. We also wanted to take this opportunity to replace the flooring in the laundry room, but couldn’t be without a water heater long enough to tile the area where the heater would sit. Matt said he would check on water heater sizes for us and think about how we could handle the flooring issue. By the next day Matt had answers for us. Not only did he find a water heater that would fit our space, but went to Home Depot and looked for something that we could use to cover the old tile under the heater. Not finding anything to his satisfaction, he mentioned this to another customer who offered to cut us a piece of marble to perfectly fit under the new water heater and would butt up to our new tile. Matt worked on his own time to find a resolution to our problems. His friendly personality and dedication to customer service was far beyond our expectations. He also came to the installation to make sure we were happy with the final product. The installation team of Victor and Ernesto did an excellent job fitting the new tank in place and making all the new connections look like a custom job. They were always considerate of the cleanliness of our home by laying tarps and covering their shoes. Both my wife and I were extremely happy with the final product, the excellent service and the friendliness of everyone involved. I would highly recommend Golden Seal to anyone for their HVAC needs.

My relationship with Golden Seal began almost 10 years ago when my air conditioning unit stopped working on a very hot and humid summer evening. Golden Seal was the only company that would send someone out to help that same evening. They won my business that night and they have been performing the annual inspections on my furnaces and air conditioning units ever since. Even after I moved about 50 miles away 3 years ago, they found a way to continue to perform the service maintenance. So, they were at the top of my list when it came time to replace the 19 year old furnaces and low quality air conditioning units at our new home last month. Russ Downs took the time to walk me through all of the options and answer all of my questions. And Mark, Juan, Rob, and Jim managed to remove the two old furnaces and the two old air conditioning units and installed their replacements all in one day. I could not be happier with the new units and the work that they did. And I am certainly glad that I included a 5 year service agreement with Golden Seal to keep our units running perfectly. I will definitely recommend Golden Seal Service Experts for both service maintenance and installation of new units to both my friends and family.

We found Golden Seal through our Costco buying service and are extremely happy with them. Jeff, the salesman was awesome to work with....answered questions, explained his recommendations, followed up as promised and went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. The installers were very personable, respectful, and clean. There was a minor problem with some dirt bypassing the floor tarps and getting to an area rug. I was astounded that Jeff had a carpet cleaner there the very same day to clean the rug. Wow. Absolutely no inconvenience for me. We purchased a new furnace and air conditioner and had our ducts cleaned too. The equipment is working well...so much quieter than our old Lennox equipment. The thermostat took a little learning time but it is very nice to have the thermostat control app on our phone to warm things up (or cool down) on our way home after traveling out of town. This Lennox system was a little pricier than others but working with Golden Seal and having the Costco name behind us made it worth the extra $. I highly recommend Golden Seal for your HVAC needs.

We had a our furnace serviced today as we do every year for preventive maint. and our tech. that came out was outstanding. Called ahead to make sure we were home and said he would be there in 30 min. He showed up right on time and within the time that that the scheduler said he would. He introduced himself and was very polite and showed respect for my family and home. The tech even encouraged me to stay with him so he can explain everything he was doing and to ask questions if I was not busy. So I did and learned a lot too. I have been using Service Experts (Golden Seal) for over 8 years now and they have not let me down. Especially a couple years ago days before Christmas and my furnace went out with a new baby. The on call tech came out got our furnance up and running until they could come back in the morning to replace a blower motor. When they came out it was snowing really bad but they still made it out and we had heat for Christmas! The tech.s and all of the employees at Service Experts (Golden Seal) are A+ in my book. I highly recommend them.

A couple of months ago we were in the market to replace our old heating and air conditioning. We evaluated several brands and got several estimates. Golden Seal was one of the several vendors represented by Mr. Jeff Melton. After evaluating all the brands and talking to various representatives we came to the conclusion that Lennox System sold by Golden Seal and represented by Mr. Melton would provide us with the best system from the cost effectiveness as well as reliability of the service during the installation to service after sale. On the day of installation the installer who are the employee of Golden Seal arrived on time and completed the job perfectly. I found the installer very friendly, responding to my questions as well as showing me how to work with the system. The system has been working well since the installation.. We recommend Golden Seal which is represented by Mr. Jeff Melton for your Heating and Air conditioning needs.

This was the best and most comfortable home improvement process I have experienced. From the first visit through the final inspection everything went smooth and on time. The initial meeting with our Sales Consultant Russ Downs was terrific. He was very thorough and presented many good options. We chose the best one for us based on the guidance we received from Russ. He knew the products and had very valuable insight that assisted in our final decision. The installation team of John and Victor arrived on time the day of the install and worked very hard through the day to complete the job. They were both very good at what they did including the work site prep and clean up after the job. They also took time to walk me through the new furnace A/C humidifier and thermostat components. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for great service and product delivery.

We had a non-working A/C unit. I called Golden Seal to obtain an estimate and make an appointment. The service rep on the phone was able to provide me exactly what I needed - estimate was easy to come by, I was offerred a way to reduce the cost to me (by signing up for annual retainership for A/C and Furnace maintenance, which I did), and making appointment was very easy! What pleased me most was the service the technician, Jose, provided. He arrived to our place on time, performed thorough diagnostics until he found the root cause for the unit not working, addressed the issue, and performed the maintenance. What I liked the most was about Jose was the transparency he offerred throughout the job. He kept me in the loop on what he was doing and what he was finding. This helped gain my trust. I felt that I made the right choice by selecting Golder Seal Service Experts!

I have been a customer of golden seal for 8 years after I purchased my furnace from them. They have always been very prompt in their response to rectifying problems. We needed a new a/c and got quotes from several places to compare. Russ Downs was our salesman and he went the extra mile to keep our business. He followed through with everything he said he would do including being very prompt and professional. He also was very knowledgeable about all the equipment as he used to be a technician. Our technician Juan came the next day and installed the unit in a very thorough and comprehensive manner. We are glad that our business was important enough to them to meet our needs. We had several quotes to put in a new heating and air conditioning system and Golden Seal made it very easy to compare the options. In the end, their pricing was the best. Their salesman, Russ, presented several options and with the Costco seal of approval we felt very comfortable giving them the job. From the time we called them to having the new units in the house was less than a week. The Technicians - Rob, John and Mark - arrived on time and in spite of heavy rain, completed the job in one day while keeping the house spotless. They were very helpful in explaining the operation of the systems and getting the set up right. Russ followed up every step of they way and made sure that we were happy with all aspects of the job. I first purchased a furnace and A/C unit from Golden Seal back in 2002 for my Batavia home. I can still remember my installers Lenny and Scott. They did a great job then and are still doing a great job now. I recently moved to Sycamore and once again was in need for a new furnace and A/C unit. I called Golden Seal and Russ Downs came to my home and gave me several options. I still checked around to make sure they were giving me the best value for the money and they did. We closed the deal on a Thursday and that very next Saturday they came and installed the new furnace and A/C unit. My installers John and Victor did a great job. I wish all my contractors were this easy to work with. Good job boys your 2 for 2 in my book.

Our a/c unit was 27yrs. old and Golden Seal did the yearly "check ups" for us, so when I decided to replace it before it broke, I called GS and Russ Downs came out to give an estimate. He was very friendly, people-oriented, and knowledgeable. He took the time to address all my questions and concerns, and never made me feel rushed, which is important when making a costly purchase. I spoke with Russ Downs who gave me a very well account of what they offer and the installation process. He educated us well about their product and explained all the discounts and rebates. He even offered and did all the paper work in that regard and we have already received and cashed a check from Costco. Mr. Downs worked with us and went an extra mile in arranging a payment option that was affordable for us.he was very pleasant to work with. He did appropriate follow ups. We have the system working and are looking forward to see how the AC unit will work next summer. Golden Seal is fortunate to have Mr. Downs as her representative.i give him five stars.*****
