Acuity has excellent service with everything from payments to audits to policy changes to claims! We had a hail claim last year, and received a check for the repairs in less than a week from providing the estimate. Today I filed a claim and within an hour received a phone call from the adjuster and he will be inspecting the damage to our vehicle this afternoon. Audits have always been straightforward and never overly time consuming. Thank you Acuity for making stressful situations less stressful!

Received a letter notifying us of a $750/yr increase (a 65% increase) because of (1) non-moving violation (driving with expired DL). The expired DL was an honest oversight to an otherwise clean driving record. Seemed pretty extreme for a (1) time incident! Decided to contact them, however, Acuity refused to remove (or negotiate) the surcharge. I immediately cancelled my policy and went with a competitor and saved $1,200/yr. Hope this helps anyone looking to make a decision.

if you are just paying your premium they are good, once if you have some claim,they will throw you out from coverege, after you done with your claim,and every thing like settelment,then they will send you more bill after 8 or 10 months,from audit department,that you owe us that much more,,IS NOT A FAIR.....right now i am handling this problem,,even u prove them that u dont owe them money,they will put COLLECTION on ur credit report.is funny and hurts too

Not a good company to work with at all. I went with this company based on a quote they gave me. After I sent in the payment, a month later they send me an invoice for another $1079 which i refused to pay. They cancelled my premium 2 months before it was due again. I gave this company over $4,000 for a year of premiums. What a rip off company.

Stay away from this company they are bunch of crooks. They care only about themselves and their agents. They will rip you off if you try to cancel their policy. They will keep auditing and increasing premiums. I am at $995 for a month of coverage for my business. I was originally quoted $305/month.

I want to say that Acuity has been poor handling a claim in which one of their drivers rear-ended me. This has led me to take back the claim to my other insurance company. There is no excuse for not being responsive to calls or text messages.
