Horrible company, if you are looking at this insurance company turn around and run head for the hills this auto insurance company is unreliable and not responsible my car accident happened in mid July 2017 it is now made October 2017 in my truck is still not fixed they have not completed and sent in any of my paperwork to get my truck fixed they have failed to communicate with me I have failed Customer service they are not reliable at all if you get in a car accident and you have this coverage you’re screwed stick with the more reputable names such as progressive Allstate insurance is like that when it comes to Western General this place is garbage you’re going to pay to wait in line and be put on the back burner while they still collect your money do not take this insurance company for you will be in a world of let down And disappointment their customer service again sucks they failed to get your accident claim done in a timely matter they were extremely irresponsible they are terrible terrible terrible I pay full coverage etc an couldn’t An still haven’t fixed my car this company sucks !!!!!!!!! If I could give zero stars I would! My car was damaged by a person who has western general insurance almost 4 months ago. They agreed that they were at fault for damages I paid for the repairs out-of-pocket and have still not been reimbursed I’m on hold anywhere from 30 to 40 minutes if I can get through at all. I’ve talk to multiple representatives each one told me they need something else. I’ve sent receipts of proof of my payment the shop that fixed my car has sent itemized receipts twice! They’ve never once called me if they needed something else nor did they tell me that they need anything without me calling to find out what the holdup is. Now they need my registration to prove they are paying the owner which I would’ve gladly send over any of the five other times I’ve had to talk to a representative. The representatives are rude short and can tell that they are just miserable they have no respect. This has to be the worst insurance company to ever have to go through if your car is damaged. I would never want to do business with them and hope I will never have to again!

WORST COMPANY EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD!!!! IF YOU GET HIT BY SOMEONE WHO HAS WESTERN GENERAL INSURANCE, BE PREPARED FOR YOUR CLAIM TO BE RESOLVED BETWEEN 9-12 MONTHS. I had an attorney on my case and she called me into her office a couple of times so I could hear her leave the same voicemails over and over to the same adjuster. It was a nightmare!!!!! This adjuster took 7 months to resolve my property damage claim. I have read that each adjuster gets 50-60 voicemals a day. Also, you can never get a hold of anyone, YOU DO NOT EVEN HEAR A RINGTONE, it just goes to voicemail. i sat with my attorney and we could hear the same voicemail over and over. they do not care. You can tell this insurance company is the lowest of the lowest of the lowest of the low. First there is mud, then crap, the corpses, then this insurance company. The BEST third party insurance company I have EVER dealt with... Seriously. I am very skeptical when it comes to trusting people, more or less insurance companies. However, I recently was in an incident where I was rear ended at a stop sign. When I read Western General Insurance on the responsible parties insurance card, I automatically assumed it was a small insurance company that was going to fight for every penny. On the other hand, they dealt the situation QUICKLY, PROFESSIONALLY, and without any headaches. I highly recommend this company to do business with. I rarely like to write reviews, because of how subjective and one sided they are- but this company deserves all of my 5 stars. Thank you Western General for taking care of me, my car, and my wallet.

you only find out if you have a good insurance company when you have been in an accident and need to make a claim. take my advise and do not go with this awful awful insurance company and go through a nightmare experience if you need to make a claim, it is not worth the few bucks you are saving. I have been in the cars sales and finance business for 30 years and can tell you now that it is worth it to go with the big boys and pay the extra few dollars and have a piece of mind. companies I recommend are Farmers, All State, State Farm, Geico, Progressive, Triple A. Any one of those companies will give you the customer service that you should expect from your insurance Company

This is a horrible insurance company. If you have a claim they do everything they can not to pay. My car was parked and hit by one of their insured. After a month they refused to pay to repair my car and only offered 56% of the cost to fix it. When I called them it was at least a 30 minute wait to talk to anyone and they a very rude person does everything including hanging up on you to not settle. In my judgement, this is a rip-off company and you should do everything you can not to deal with them. I submitted a complaint to the AZ insurance commission regarding my claim with them.

Got rear ended by a person driving a car that was insured by this fake insurance company, Western General. I filed an online claim against them and a rep from Western General called me a day later, and said their customer "did not have liability coverage" and so I had to call my own insurance company instead because it was a "uninsured motorist" situation. So their customer who has Western General auto insurance does not have liability insurance? Which is the basic type of insurance any plan starts with. Fake insurance company, ripping off their customers and accident victims.

please do not buy insurance from WESTERN GENERAL. this company is one of the worst insurance company I ever had. I paid full my insurance bill for 6 month, after 4 month they sent a bill to me for $191.00. I called and talked to manager, she said they do not have my phone number or email address to give me a notice. They never answer the phone, after waiting an hour on the phone they said they can not do anything. Do Not Waste Your Money And Time To Buy Insurance from them. I wish I could check their review before I buy service from them. very poor service.

It’s unfortunate that this company is still in business. I was in an accident over 3 weeks ago and my claim rep has not contacted me once about my claim! instead, I have contacted them repeatedly and have gotten the run around. My car is not operable right now and she even said "I’m sorry, I had family emergencies" So that means my claim was put on hold for that reason?! The worst company I have ever dealt with!! They can’t even tell me who was determined at fault! DONT use this company!

i got in a car accident april 3rd, today is may 9th, ive called every single day for updates, and just today they transferred my claim to a total loss adjuster.. and still she said to wait 2-3 days for the final amount. Also, did not cover for car rental.. from the other reviews, it looks like my claim has been taken care of the fastest, but still very slow. ive had all very nice and professional representatives. so far a bad experience for what i pay a month.

i got this insurance from my Galpin Honda and get it for free 1 month. i got hit-n-run by car and mine is crap now. i call for the claim departmen and know what ? ONLY MONDAY TO FRIDAY !!! like WTF ??? claim department should be 24/7 right ??? this insurance very UNPROFESSIONAL !!! ! their motto is BS !! totally BS !!! this is my first time calling claim insurance and find it mon-friday work hour !!! SOOOOO BAD, ZERO STARS. I was hit by a western general customer on July 4th 2017 and have had the worst customer service experience ever. Conflicting stories on the status of my claim, various hang ups on payment which always are magically resolved when I take the 45 mintues to an hour of my life to call in and wait on their painful 1-800 number. Its been 4 months, I have paid for my own repairs and am waiting on a two party check to me and my bank.

Wish I would have seen the reviews before getting this insurance. Too many issues with them raising my insurance prise without tellimg me and not being able to accredit it or refund me because this was their fault a broker can only do so much and if you contact an agent at western general they do absolutely nothing for you. Thank you Elizabeth for not being able to do anything for me keep up the "GREAT" work.

The worst insurance company i have ever had or dealt with. They are crooks and will not pay for your accident damages and in fact will find any excuse not to pay. I wish i would have read these reviews before i purchased my policy. Absolutely the worst company I have ever had the experience of dealing with. Please read the reviews before making a decision and i warn you not to do business with these crooks.

Not the insured but the victim. Victimized mainly by their poor customer service and failure to follow up. I realize they may be a cut-rate insurance company but why are they still in business. This review is to warn their customers to leave and quit spending their money on a company that will never actually provide a service. I have been waiting for a decision on my claim since 11/23/2016

Deason the guy/girl is very rude. You can never get in touch with anyone. The worst insurance company I have ever dealt with. You ask to speak with a manager and they magically appear to all be in meeting at the same time. Then you continue to push and no one is at their desk. Why lie. This insurance company will not cover you damages. Stay away!!!!!!

I submitted a claim on Feb. 16, 2016.. I am still trying to get my vehicle out of the shop with no success from Western General. I have tried contacting my adjuster every hour on the hour for 2 months now and as of today still no reply. I have already made 2 car payments and 2 insurance payments and I still have no vehicle.. Worst service ever!

I was rear ended sitting at a red light by one of their policy holders. It has been two months and they are still sending letters saying they need more time. It takes 30-45 minutes to get a person on the phone and even then they are no help and show zero care. This company should not be allowed to stay in business.

This company does not deserve any star. If there was an option for negative stars, i would give them negative 100. I wanted to file a claim and this lady put me on hold for over 40 minutes. I finally disconnected the call, and called back using the number she gave me but did not answer. I have switched to GEICO.

Absolutely horrible customer service!! Ive called every day for the past week and get the same answers. Nobody knows any information except for "it usually takes a few days" well 21 is a little more than a few. Dont try talking to a "supervisor" either. I wouldnt reccomend this company to my worst enemy!

This is THE WORST COMPANY POSSIBLE I cant emphasis this enough. They are rude and juggle you around when you call example.... oh let me transfer you to this person and so on..... luckily 3 WEEKS LATER!!! they finally approved my claim. from my hit and run. worst people to deal with
