My dealings with Andrew Y. at American Roofing was top notch. Everyone involved in the project was friendly, honest, and professional. On top of providing a fair and comfortable business transaction, they also provided a quality product. For my project, they reroofed, constructed new eves, and resided my house. As a first time home owner and having no clue how to navigate the construction industry, I felt comfortable that I wasn’t getting taken advantage of. Andrew went out of his way numerous times to explain “my best option”, even if it didn’t profit American Roofing. For my project, they were replacing the decking of my roof. Therefore, at times, small portions of my attic was exposed. As accidents do happen, a worker accidently stepped through my attic and created a hole through my ceiling. I feel at these times a company can show its true colors. American Roofing resolved the issue with genuine concern and urgency. Also, I would like to note that during the reroofing project, while my roof was half way finished, it rained off and on for a couple days. As a quality roofer should, they always appeared to have a certain level of preparedness for the weather. My type “A” personality came out and I found myself in my attic at 2am during the peak of a rainstorm. I didn’t see a single drop of rain in my house! This was a good example of their professionalism. What’s a review without a little critique? During the re-roofing project, a lot of debris was removed from my house. The debris was thrown off the roof onto the ground before it ended up in a dumpster. I felt like there could have been a little more effort to protect the landscaping around my house. RIP plants. I hear some Rubbermaid bins or 5-gallon buckets placed on-top of the plants is a good move. Other than that, I have no complaints. 10 out 10 would recommend them!

We had several companies bid our reroof job and American Roofing was below most of the others and the representative, James, thoroughly explained the roofing process. His emailed bid was clean and professional and easy to follow. I researched a lot about roofing and got referrals from friends and neighbors. I emailed James often, asking questions and raising concerns before we ever decided to go with American Roofing. He always answered promptly and thoroughly and he was super patient with my many questions. When the roof job was done, he came to look and noticed some unfinished work and made sure it was completed properly. He was excellent to work with. Scott and Mike, the American roofing inspectors came when the roof was complete and they were cheerful, helpful, and love their jobs! They went around and cleaned up the property even more. They have high expectations for their roofers and they have been in the business for decades. They know roofing. We had a great experience with American Roofing and appreciate James, Nate, Scott, and Mike particularly in their help to see the work through!

We recently had American roofing install a new roof on our home. From the initial bid to the completed roof, we were favorably impressed. Andrew answered all of our questions in a friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to understand manner. We feel like we received a good value, a quality job at reasonable rates, all done in a timely manner. The crew that came out for the roof install as well as the one that installed the rain gutter knew what they were doing and cleaned up the area very good before leaving each day. We also felt that they were trustworthy which was important to us as well. Over all, we would definitely give American roofing and rain gutter a positive referral. In fact, we’ve already given out their contact information to several friends and family members in need of a new roof!

I had some roofing problems and an estimator came and looked it over and gave me a fair assessment and bid the next day. When we talked, he gave a thorough explanation of my options, including fully fixing the problem as well as a fair analysis of what to do if we were to not do the repair at the present time, including what to watch for. The estimator was very professional and polite and was not pushy. Previously, I have used this company to add a gutter for my backyard patio. They were quick and did excellent work. I also hired them to replace the roof material over my patio, which had a very shallow grade, from shingles to a membrane. The quality of the work was excellent as well as all phases of the project (estimating, installation, and billing).

I called twice to have someone come look at my roof and give me a bid. Both times I spoke to a nice girl who told me that she would have a roofer/inspector call me to set up an appointment. BOTH TIMES nobody called me back. After not having anyone call me the first time to schedule an appointment, I called the office back and the girl apologized, she was very nice, but told me that they for some reason had cancelled my request for an appointment. I am assuming that is what happened the second time, since nobody attempted to contact me. I would have loved to see what kind of bid they would give me, but unfortunately I will not be finding out. I was forced to take my business elsewhere.

We have lived in our home for over 30 years and have been loyal customers of American Roofing Company since the beginning. Several years ago we remodeled and added onto our home. We had American come out and do the roof for that project. At the time, we had a glitch where the swamp cooler had been, and they were great to come out and fix that problem. They truly guarantee their work. Their office staff is professional and easy to communicate with, the estimators are pleasant and friendly, and the workers did a good job cleaning up after themselves and arriving when they said they would. Their pricing is competitive too. I highly recommend this company.

He was so patient and thorough, but mostly I appreciated his integrity. He always returned my phone calls and followed up with me to make sure everything was up to my satisfaction. The workers were always polite, on time, and clean. I also used American Roofing for some gutter needs, and was extremely happy with that department as well. I would definitely use American Roofing again, and recommend them to anyone looking for a company that takes pride in their work and service.

We had American Roofing out to redo a section of our roof and they had no problem cashing the check when they were done. When we started to have the same problems before their repair, shortly after, we went to them for help. They continually ignored our calls and messages. This continued over the course of months and then into another year when we could finally ran into one of them face to face. They promised to send some one out to look at it. They came, said they needed a ladder and never returned. It went back to the ignored phone calls and emails. To this day we cannot get a hold of anyone. Very poor customer service and even worse work

I wish to convey to all who would hear me that our experience with American Roofing was beyond our expectations our roof had been damaged by mold and was to be mitigated by another company after 4 months of trying to get the mold issue corrected Andrew rolled up his sleeves and went to battle for us he had his crew work around the others and the horrible weather and completed the job on budget and timely anyone would find working with this company a pleasure.

It was great that when the work was going on Gavin came out and also a supervisor. Andrew was really great to explain his suggested option for taking care of ice buildup on our roof that was causing some damage inside our home. He was a great listener and thorough in his explanation of what his company could do for us. The workers came in the time promised and worked hard and well to fix our problem. We had a good experience. The introductory meeting and bid made us feel comfortable and we did like the price. The sales person spent a lot of time with us helping us pick out the color and it is amazing. We also upgraded up one level to a better shingle. This price also beat the competitors. We were expecting an entire crew of workers, however, it was only two men. They did very good work but it did take longer than expected.

Start to finish Andrew and his crew were awesome. Very upfront and very fair pricing. I was under contract and need the job done fast. Andrew came out and looked at the roof around 4 pm one day and the crew was there the next week. It took the crew a day and a half and they even repaired some rotted wood on our chimney. Spectacular service, fair price. There is a reason way American Roofing has so many 5-star ratings.

They explained how the process worked, from quoting a bid to scheduling the date and time to replace the roof.
