Have used Mountainwest many times in the past and have been satisfied. The last time I used Mountainwest it was to perform a "tuneup" on my boiler (Munchkin 140M) which I assumed included required annual maintenance recommended by the manufacturer, i.e., combustion check/adjust, clean condensation weep line, inspect/clean the combustion chamber for scaling. Turns out, that a $159 tuneup by Mountainwest includes nothing more than a cursory examination of the system to ensure that everything is working. The technician told me at the time of the tuneup that nothing else was required. I found out later through my own research on the internet that this recommendation was false and likely contributed to a recent failure of the boiler system (condensate line became plugged). When I called and talked to Mountainwest about the issue they had no time to discuss the matter or work on an equitable solution. I think, at least when it comes to boiler maintenance, Mountainwest is skating on some ethical thin ice regarding what individual boiler manufacturers recommend and what Mountainwest tells the customer about those recommendations. Customers rely on Mountainwest to tell them what is needed. It seems unethical for the company to imply through saying nothing that a $159 tuneup does everything the manufacturer recommends.

First off started with I got same day service during snowy day(that was huge!). Rusty came over to diagnose the burning smell issue that we had. He explained very well about the what caused the issue which was the blower motor bearing was bad after 14 years running and heat exchanger cracking/rusting away as well. Then the engineer - Jon came to measure the house and give estimate on the new furnace. He took his time to measure the house because he wants to give us the correct furnace - which i really appreciate it! He explain about each options that we had and answered all of our concerns. He was so professional. Once we chose the package, the great installer (Tyson, Johnson, Roberto and Greg) came on time). The were so professional and efficient. Their work are so clean and they respect my house and didnt leave any dirt/mark anywhere. They explain all the things they did and showed me how to operate our new furnace/ac unit. The best part was after the long day installing our new furnace, they also helped fixed my garage heater and replace the thermostate for free! How awesome was that! I definitely going to use them again and recommend them to others. They are the best!

Excellent service from start to finish with a new HVAC system installed in our home. Our old system finally gave out and the company responded quickly to assure we could have the service installed quickly . Reynold Evans did a super job of presenting the options for our home with very clear choices that would take care of heating and cooling the home. The installation team of Justin and Victor did a fantastic job of explaining the process that we would see during the day they would be on site. They were not able to complete the job in 1 day, but they did stay late to make sure we had heat in our home that evening. The crew was very respectful of the impact they would have during the installation and left the house and surrounding outside area very clean. Justin did a great job of explaining the new system and answered any questions that we had. After the installation Reynold made a follow up call to check in, which to us made an impact. Our hot water heater failed yesterday evening and I called Service Experts - Mountain West this morning on the recommendation of a neighbor. I spoke with Diane and 30 minutes later Daren Anderson called and asked about what I needed. I suggested that he come by my home and see for himself the size constraints - he did and left - returning in 1 1/2 hour with a new Rheem 50 gallon gas water heater, which he installed. Mr. Anderson is methodical, courteous, an expert in his profession, and a credit to your Company. Two years ago I had called your Company about a furnace problem, and Chrstian Liedtke came to my late at night and fixed our furnace. He knew what he was doing and I requested him to come by last year. Now I have had the pleasure of observing 2 of your employees and I am impressed and will recommend you in the future to friends that need similar help.

This review comes from Mike Finnegan. We had Service Experts install the new furnace and A/C. Tyson and Justin worked through the day making sure the install was done correctly and thoroughly. They even had to deal with a power outage scheduled for the same day as the install. They covered my carpeted stairs to keep things clean and cleaned up as the completed each project. The details regarding the new thermostat were clearly explained - twice. :) The guys were great!!! Thanks for a wonderful job and a quiet A/C! Want to append this review to include the sales rep, Dennis. He took his time examining our heating and cooling needs and suggested the perfect units to fit those needs. He also did a prompt follow up to make sure we were satisfied with the the installation and units. THANK GUYS!

Service Experts just installed a new furnace and air conditioner at my home. I highly recommend them. I got three bids on the work. Garrett came out from Service Experts and not only did he give me the best price but he also did the best job of doing a thorough evaluation of my home to make sure I got just the right system and not more than I needed. Justin and Roberto did the installation, including some new piping through the attic and roof, in a day and a half. They were courteous, professional and did a great job of orienting me to the new system and answering all my questions. Garrett then came back a week later to inspect the work and to make sure I was happy with the new system and the work. The Service Experts team did an excellent job.

We have used Service Experts for furnace replacement, water heater replacement, servicing furnace, air conditioner, etc., etc. for over 20 years. Over the past weekend (Sunday) our garbage disposal froze up; we went on line and arranged an appointment for the following day. Service agents Daren and Isaac arrived on the dot, analyzed the problem and advised us of choices, all in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner. The disposal had to be replaced, which was done promptly as part of the service call. We had Mountainwest Home Services replace one of our water heaters which had stopped working that was still under warranty. They were professional in working with us and the water heater manufacturer and made it so easy on us. The technician was quick in coming, and worked hard to get our water heater replaced quickly. He not only did this but explained how to service water heaters to make them last longer. He put shoe covers on over his shoes every time he entered our home which showed me he cared about our floors. I will definitely call on Mountainwest Home Services for any HVAC needs because of how I was treated.

Sitting at the dining room table and drip, drip, drip from the ceiling. Service Experts was recommended by a friend. We had a wonderful experience with Daren, the plumber who came out - found the problem right away and took great care of everything AND he was really nice to interact with AND exceptional helpful. Would not hesitate to recommend & call again if needed. One year later (8/23/17) - Daren & Isaac came out for annual maintenance - great service again. Had Daren come back a week later (8/30/2017) to install a water access valve to our hard water (boiler drain) - excellent, efficient. Again superb service

All of the technicians that have come to service my heating/cooling system have been polite, efficient and knowledgeable. William Chavez was equally efficient in service. "Woke up at 4am to a furnace that was not working at all, three days before Christmas and the house is 55 degrees. Put in a request via email at 5:30am, they called me at 6am, their tech was at my front door by 8am and by noon my 15 year old furnace that they could have easily told me needed replacing was purring like a kitten and my house was cozy and warm again. William came right on time and did a good job replacing the capacitor that was causing my AC to fail. This was my first time using this company. I liked that you could schedule an appointment at 3:00 AM on their website, and that they could show up in the morning to get things going again. I would have given them 5 stars if they had not charged $191.00 for a $40.00 part. Other than than, it was a good experience. In contrast, I was able to save the additional $89.00 service charge by printing out their online coupon for their summer deals.

I have relied upon Service Experts for years for my heating, AC, and plumbing service. They are always prompt, and technician Mr. Anderson gave great advice while servicing the hot water heater. Update: I just had another service needed due to a part failing on my AC (which was covered under warranty). William came out promptly and quickly diagnosed the issue and got my AC working again. As I stated before, I have had nothing but a good experience from the Service Experts in Midvale.

Our AC died so I jumped on line to find someone with decent ratings that could come out ASAP. It was around 7pm when I called. The person I spoke with to schedule was very informative and polite. I was set up to have someone out the same night. Within the hour William our technician arrived, he was very polite and knowledgeable. We had a new furnace installed yesterday and I was SO impressed with the friendliness, professionalism, and knowledge of the two service techs, Tyler and Roberto. They kept everything clean including wearing shoe covers and putting down drop cloths over all the carpet they were walking on. I felt comfortable having them in my home. Not only was the service great but this company was by far the best priced. Nearly half of what another company quoted us! I highly recommend this company.

Mountainwest heating performed a yearly tune-up on our furnace in a home we recently purchased. They technician that was sent out was very professional and was more than willing to answer any questions I had regarding furnaces. He even out of his way to tell me about some additional appliances the previous homeowner installed, and actually fixed one of the units. We purchased our heating and AC from Service Experts and they have serviced them for several years. We also had them install a water heater in our home. Just last week we had a water pipe spring a rather substantial leak in our basement so we called Service Experts and they sent out Daren Anderson who efficiently repaired the pipe so that we were able to turn the water on in our home. I would recommend Service Experts for all your heating, air conditioning and plumbing needs.

Our air conditioning unit broke during the hottest days of the year. Service experts sent a technician the next morning and helped identify the problem quickly. The technician, William Chavez went out of his way to get the unit working while we waited a couple days for a new motor and blades. William called back to let me know the part was delayed one day and promised to show up at 8am the next day, which he did. Fixed the unit and got us on our way. Excellent service.
