I,ve had a very bad experience with this company. I needed a new roof on my home and they flat out refused to replace it. they first contacted me via email a year after I purchased my home to inform me that a few shingle needed to be replaced. a pre-existing condition they called it. I then contacted a certified roofer to give me an estimate on replacing the few shingles. He informed me that he did not see any loose shingles, but did noticed that the whole roof had hail damage and needed replacing. I informed my Insurance provider and their first response was (maybe he couldnt see the pre existing condition because of the hail damage). So I filed a claim to replace the roof. They informed me that the whole roof was pre-existing now. I had another issue with my home and they also declinded that claim also. I,ve contacted the Board of Insurance to file a claim. still waiting to hear back from them. next step is a possible Law suit. I did not purchase my home to subject to poor customer service. and a $14,000 out of pocket bill to replace a roof. FYI the home inspector I hired to inspect my home did not find anything wrong with my roof. My insurance also requested a copy of the original Inspection but ruled it out as evidence because the Inspector was standing on a ladder when he did the Inspection.. same inspection the Insurance company did. but I quess it was good enough for them.

I was a first time homeowner last year. My mortgage company set me up with Goosehead Insurance. Everything was fine till a month ago and I received a letter in the mail that my policy would not be renewed due to me not allowing an inspection (that I was never made aware of) to be done. I immediately got in the phone to get this fixed. Called in and they stated they would get the inspection ordered and I would be contacted soon for an inspection to be done. It took about 2 weeks and several phone calls before someone came out. A week later I received a phone call stating my policy would not be renewed due to the plumbing in my house. My policy is set to not renew about 5 days later. They told my choices was to replum my house or find a new company. Then I was told that an agent would contact me to go over other companies thay could insure my home 2 days passed and nothing. I am not understanding how a policy was aloud to be signed and gone on for a year before being made aware of an inspection. I have had very little time to find another company. I am very displeased with the service I have received and the unprofessional act of this company.

Very quick and friendly. Was very quick to get us set up and no issues. however, the insurance company that was provided to us has been unprofessional in handling the claim process and even though we opted for extra insurance coverage, somehow there is a nice loophole in there for the benefit of the insurance company that is going to cost me a lot more money than I will ever pay in insurance. Be sure that your sales person does have the interest in your favor and not just selling more insurance so they can get paid. I would not recommend Goosehead Insurance and or National LLoyds Insurance company. They both have COST me more money than they have saved me.

The highest quote I have ever had for landlord insurance!!! I asked the agent what was the difference between landlord insurance and homeowners insurance and he said "The only difference is that the insurance company will not pay your claim if you are a landlord with a homeowner’s policy". Really!!! Allstate was 1/3 the price and told me that that landlord policy does not carry cost for replacing personal property, it will pay for lost rent if the apartment is damages and under repairs through an insurance claim, etc.
