Ben sells insurance for State Farm, a disreputable company that "does not recognize the concept of diminished value". While this position is valid in Texas for claims made by the insured, it is NOT valid for third parties injured by the insured of State Farm. As such, Ben is involved in a scheme to cheat the public by lying to them. When confronted with this information, Ben revealed that he has direct knowledge of State Farm paying diminished value claims and then attempted to shirk responsibility for the scheme because he is not involved in claims ... as he only sells the polices. Ultimately, his only commitment was to threaten litigation to defend his reputation regarding his involvement in this fraud. I ask you, what do you think of an agent who shirks responsibility for fraud that he knows takes place on policies he sells/sold, and then attempts to shirk accountability and protect his reputation through threats of litigation if revealed?
