We (Personally and for my Business-Sandler Training) have been a client of State Farm and specifically the Shawn Velez Agency since 2007. In addition to all of our Auto and Home coverage we also use Shawn and his team for our business insurance as well. We give them our higher recommendation and only wish we had found them sooner. A couple of specific areas where they have shined over the years have been: - The handling of claims and the coordination between client, the other party and their provider, and the auto body shop. - The annual, in person, coverage review to determine whether we have too little and yes, or too much coverage as things change. - Their professionalism and the fact they really walk the talk as a good neighbor would.

Agent was uncooperative and hanged up on me. State Farms agents use an antiquated computer system which every office is on an island (the computers cannot talk to other offices). Earlier when I was purchasing a Ford truck from a Ford dealer during the sale, he typed the wrong VIN in a vehicle history database. He stated the the vehicle I was purchasing had 4 accidents and 3 comprehensive claims. The vehicle was in pristine condition and had a 7 year 100k warrenty. This guy is an incompitant jerk. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BUYING STATE FARM INSURANCE

I had lost my Insurance card for my car and Shawn & his team were a phone call away and they emailed a copy to my Service provider and also to me.
