Right from the beginning, I knew I had picked the right construction company for my master bathroom addition. After the plans were drawn and contract was signed, I was impressed by the how quickly things started progressing. We had to wait a week or so for the continual bad weather to subside, but when the rain finally stopped for a couple of days, the owner of the company showed up with an excavator and a trailer to dig out the site. It looked like he really enjoyed running the excavator. From that point on, and despite the occasional downpour, his team of professionals and subcontractors got to work and built that badly needed second bathroom. One member of his team really stood out, the project manager. Dwayne was always available for questions, suggestions, and other matters related to the construction. He made sure deliveries were on time and that the contractors always had the materials they needed. His suggestions were always helpful and even inspiring. I would recommend that anyone looking for a contractor to put in a room addition, remodel a bathroom, a kitchen, or to put up new siding, that they contact J Forrest Construction first.

JForrest Construction did a great job removing our old siding and residing our house with James Hardie colorplus hardiplank. We had multiple quotes for the siding and We ultimately went with Jforrest because the price was right and they were very professional and we felt confident they would do a good job and we were not disappointed. They were able to start earlier than they had thought which was a plus and finish in a timely manner. While working on the siding one of our outdoor pipes burst and it was immediately taken care of by JForrest. There was a plumber at the house quickly and everything was fixed! Everyone was very nice and professional and the app they have to keep us updated on the progress was great! The house looks great and we now take pride in our beautiful house! We highly recommend JForrest Construction!

This company personifies great customer service and an excellent product! When we first contacted them, they were so good at responding quickly and thoroughly that we thought there must be something wrong with them and that they were too good to be true. We are SO happy to have been wrong about that! They met with us several times to ensure they knew exactly what we wanted with a custom-made porch covering, and even when there were issues with the wood delivered by their wood service provider, they took the time to hand-pick out replacement boards to ensure we had the quality we wanted. Their staff is friendly, cares about their work and is and obviously competent -- we just cannot recommend this company highly enough!

I contacted J Forrest Construction because I needed work done and I was looking for someone that worked out of Salem. The house was 100 years old and the siding was in horrible shape. Jeff Starkey came out and inspected the home and informed me that it needed new siding. I was comfortable with Jeff from the start and felt like he really knew what he was talking about. He explained my options and was able to answer questions about my concerns with Hardi-Plank siding. Jeff’s work is impeccable, he communicates well from beginning to end and his bids are competitive. He also does roofing and windows, which I will need in the future. You can bet I will be calling J Forrest Construction!

Within days, Erin was at our home to take measurements and begin a plan to help us pull our house back together. Our house is over 80 years old, so some replacements had to be custom designed. The contractors never backed down from the challenge. I have consistently been impressed with the speed and quality of the work. You’d never know that something happened!
