I was sued by a debt collector at a time when my partner was ill and we had fallen behind on bills. I called Clarke Balcom to see if he could help me. I met with Attorney Jake Braunstein and was treated with dignity at a time when I felt intense shame about my situation. He was wonderful. The end result was the best possible outcome I could hope to achieve. My impression was that this firm feels strongly about predatory companies who use the courts to bankrupt common consumers with default judgments. My defense was truly an uphill battle as the facts did not work in my favor, but they did a great job.
