Due to the financial downturn that really started in 2005, I suffered a set of catastrophic business reverses that left by finances devastated and my once excellent credit in shambles. I had pretty much given up hope of getting out of this mess, even though my home had ample equity to get me a fresh start. A friend, during a casual conversation, recommended that I contact Nick Kennard of NRL because she had used his services earlier and was very impressed. When Nick and I made contact I explained my situation and while I expected him to run, not walk away…. He never even blinked. “I bet we can get this done” says he and off we went. The process was tortuous and I often was ready to give up, but Nick never wavered, and finally we, or rather HE got it done. It was a truly amazing feat, and I will be forever grateful. I would recommend both him and NRL without reservation.

My name is Mary Lou Bush I am 71 years old and I had been turned down for a loan on my home. I was really devastated. It was just a coincidence that we received a cold call asking if we were interested in refinancing, though we had been shopping around. From that first call all the way through our closing, our agent, Andy Dowdy stayed in touch with us, handled all the details and made it a very painless process. Then we informed him we also wanted to buy another house in a different city as a second home. Andy Dowdy, our agent, took this all in stride, even working with the seller of the other home when necessary, till we finally closed. Our agent, Andy, who we now consider a good friend, was wonderful to work with, very personable, very knowledgable about the business and always looked out for our best interests. I have recommended this company to many of my friends and family and would do so again.

Our experience with NRL Mortgage was a positive one. We were able to refinance and transition from an FHA loan to a conventional loan, lower our interest rate by a full percentage point, and bring no money to the closing. The loan was closed in two weeks and probably could have been done in 10 days were it not for scheduling issues on our part. The loan originator, Nick Kennard, was professional, industrious, competent, and friendly. The communication was excellent. The interaction with other staff members during the course of the loan processing and closing was above average. Overall, we would recommend this company and this agent.

After finding out our appraisal was under the amount that we needed my husband and I thought we would not be getting the house we loved. We ended up switching to Nations Reliable and started working with Michael Wilson, and we just closed on our house!! Michael worked so hard to get us into our house and had us closed within one week of switching over to NRL!
