I had a great experience with these guys. Several weeks ago I was on the way to the airport and my car completely died. The little battery indicator lever dropped down to zero and that was it. I called AAA in a calm panic lol because I could not miss the flight, it was a long haul and I would be gone for almost two weeks. They asked me where I would like the car to be towed to and after a few options I chose AAA Car Care center. The guys called me for authorization to check the car and I was whispering in the plane over the phone as it was taxiing around the runway before takeoff haha!! We had email communication after that, and a lot of it...I am really happy with how Elliot and these guys communicated with me, at least 6 or 7 times over the time I was gone. They sent a very detailed list of things they discovered, absolutely no pressure, and I gave authorization to do the most urgent ones to get my car running. I was sent an amended quote each time we changed something. All my questions were answered and quickly too. When I got back, Elliot took me through everything they did and I was so grateful for their patience and how they went above and beyond to accommodate me while I was out of the country. What could have been a really stressful situation was made so much better by these guys for me. Thank you so much!! Will definitely use again!!!

Terrible experience. This shop is a perfect example of the stereotypical shop that rips off young women who come in by themselves. I assumed that the AAA discount would counter the overpriced services I had heard about before, but I was wrong. I went in to have a hose replaced and was told that it was going to be $60 (understandable) + over $130 for labor to install it. They also insisted on flushing the system for an additional $180 in labor. The minimum labor charge in this shop is $109/hour, which means they assumed it would take over an hour to replace the hose, which should take no more than 30 minutes at most. They also added multiple things to my invoice that were suggested fixes, none of which seemed reasonable. While waiting for three hours, I heard multiple others in the waiting room complaining about additional "problems" the shop finds and vastly overpriced labor. I will never tow to a AAA shop again. It is worth the $4/mile to tow to a shop that I trust.

Beware, do not fool by aaa name I had trusted based on their name and my 25 years experience from California. And almost got screwed big time. I took my c280 to check A/C blower motor, been told it will cost $100 to diagnose the problem, 2 hrs latter they told me they need to replace the motor and resistor which will cost about $900. I took car back and open 3 simple screws removing the cover for blower to find dust and trash stocked by motor. I cleaned and problem solved. Make it short, they never checked or even touched the car and I can imagine then sitting in shop, drinking coffee and making fun of schmucks like me paying $100 so they can screw me another $900 and who knows if it would have ended there… PS: It seems all Carolina aaa are same junk, I had another bad one with one in Raleigh, 2 out of 2 can’t get worse. To be fare I have to give credit to their shuttle service and the driver which he was nice and courteous

Spence was very helpful when my car was towed in last week after breaking down on I-40 during morning rush hour. He checked me into the Car Care Center quickly, contacted Enterprise so they would be there as soon as possible and reassured me they would diagnose the problem. Within a few hours, I received a phone call from him explaining the problem, giving me the exact price of the repairs, and confirmation that they could fix everything right there. My car was ready by the end of the day and when I checked out, the bill was exactly as he had presented it to be! Spence was courteous, empathetic, and very professional. My entire experience was very positive. I will take my car to this AAA Car Care Center for all my future car care needs, not just during an emergency. The price was fair, the service was excellent, and my down-time was kept as minimal as possible. I highly recommend them!

They did the brake service for my Volkswagen Jetta. After 2 or 3 days, when I took my car to the dealer for some other repair, they test drove the car and told the person who did the brake service earlier, forgot to unlock the clipper and due to this the car brakes are very hot and even can catch fire. I immediately called the AAA and told them about this. They refused to accept the responsibility or any refund. They told me in order to prove if it is their fault or not, I have to toe the car to them and then they will decide if it is their fault or not. I will never go their again.

I had an appointment but dropped my car off early and they had my car finished well before my actual appointment time. They had called because there was some wear on the tire and I told them to go ahead and do an alignment. When I got to the shop they said that when they checked it did not actually need an alignment. Many shops would have gone ahead and performed the service to make more money off me. They have always been very consistent in doing only what they need to do but doing it well.

Why am I not surprised that someone else had a similar experience as me, just 4 months ago? I was here yesterday to get a state inspection done. I had a similar experience like the lady who was here 4 months ago. Please scroll down and you would see a review from a first time customer - who brought her vehicle in to have two tires remounted. I would like to follow her lead and say the same closing comments - "Buyer beware. I will give a negative 5 stars"

I recently had wheel bearings replaced on my Acura MDX (a common malady on all-wheel drive vehicles), and I am very pleased with the service I received. The staff communicated clearly before performing the work, and the work was done on time and took care of my problem. I am a AAA member, and have done business at this location regularly for several years. They have always done a good job and been very professional in every case.

Took our car there for a tune up. Thought we would save some money over the dealer. Car was running fine, got the 60k tune up and suddenly the very next day the check engine light goes on. Returned to the shop and find out that the thermostat was broken. Interesting huh? They offered me the standard aaa discount to fix it. That was the last time I took our car there. Not pleased.

Went in to get a tire change this afternoon. Bryant and Jimmy were excellent! I went to the movies while they and their team did their magic, and got some great tips on how to keep my car well maintained and even purchased the lifetime tire warranty for an extra $20 or so. Awesome customer service, this will be my go-to place in the future.

Efficient technicians. Found and fixed an irritating noise with ease and confidence. The front office guided me well and let me choose the best available option for me. Also, they found a puncture in one of the tires and were honest in suggesting that alternative and better fix for could be possible than what they were proposing.

The day after Thanksgiving I had the battery replaced. AAA had a 50% off sale, and I wanted to take advantage of the sale. Mr. Hiser assisted me over the phone, and when I came into the shop. He was very professional and very personable. The installation took no more than 45 minutes. Nice job. New battery. Great price!

As my first time to this shop, I was pleasantly surprised to find everyone there genuinely friendly. My car was looked at for possible brake failure, and the tech took time to explain the state of my car and future service I needed. I will absolutely return to this shop for all of my maintenance needs.

Many people were trying to get service on the Saturday I visited them. They provided great service and did a good job on my car. Pricing was reasonable also. They did a great job and I will take my other car to them. I was surprised at how demanding and rude some of the customers were.

I had an 8 am appointment and then they made me wait for two hours for an oil change and tire rotation. This in incredibly bad I will just go and pay more at one of the other places where even at $50 bucks at least they respect your time. This was not what I was expecting at AAA.

What a bunch of shysters. After three visits and $2K in payments for repairs that failed to fix the problem, I had the car towed to a trusted mechanic who fixed it for $40. Use AAA for what they are good for: towing your vehicle to a reputable mechanic.

100% satisfied! Before going to AAA I went to a mechanical for my car problem and got the quotation which surprised me. Then went to AAA and got quotation of half price. Now the problem is fixed and I paid only half of price which I could have paid.

This place seems to be really expensive and they are REALLY slow. The only reason i came is because I got a coupon in the mail for a $17.99 oil change. But waiting TWO HOURS for a simple oil change was certainly not worth it.
