A routine visit on Saturday, March 6, 2010, took over 1-1/2 hours to complete. The competent and largely well-meaning staff was completely overwhelmed by the hundreds and hundreds of people trying to avoid a trip to the budget-impacted DMV. I waited approximately 40 minutes in a jammed waiting area while a banal 10-minute documentary on Hawaiian "history" played over and over and an agressive annuities salesman pandered to the restless crowd. Even if you live in West Torrance (near this AAA), you could easily drive to the Long Beach AAA (near the LB airport) and spend far less time. The LB AAA is far larger and better organized. The Torrance AAA is a Time Trap!! AVOID! AVOID

Went in today to get some maps for my cross country road trip relocation. Jeremy was awesome!! I expected to get some maps and be on my way but he planned out my whole drive. Gave me a US map, plus maps for California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Tennessee. State guide books for all the states, and a personalised turn by turn map book from door to door!! Wonderful service!! Thank you Jeremy!!

On the phone with AAA, now. Worst service ever! Agent #1 (female) argued for 15 minutes until, I finally asked for a supervisor. Agent #2 Supervisor Albert informed me that I had been taped and would not play tape back to me but, paraphrased the order to me. When I asked him to repeat word for word he would not or could not. Worst service, unprofessional and will find another company or maybe back to State Farm

Automobile Club of Southern California a 5 star experience. Flavors and service were all on point. The place is small but very comfortable. It feels like home in there. I got the seafood gumbo which was amazing. The gumbo has rice in it already. My girlfriend got delicious. We shared the mac and that was oooooo so bomb. Try it, try it, try it! What are you waiting for?!?!:

The employees here are competent, efficient, helpful, and friendly. It is much faster and friendlier than the DMV, being a private business organization rather than an unaccountable unionized government bureaucracy. I have had some exceptionally good and helpful DMV employees, but they are the exception. I have had more average and poor DMV employees than good ones.

The staff is always incredibly polite and I have not had any issues with wait time at all, its usually very quick in and out. Mark Mills is especially helpful and was amazing when we were looking for a new car! Mark was very patient and has a great knowledge of the car lines and levels of equipment.

Sometimes there is good service, but sooooo slow. Half the time the workers are talking personal stuff to each other, knowing that the 50 people waiting can hear them. Not good. Do NOT go there is you are in a rush. Wait time is almost as bad as DMV

I went in to discuss my insurance situation as my husband passed away just two weeks prior and the agent fell asleep . I was very distraught and reported it to the front desk and left too upset to discuss it with another agent

Fancy AAA! :D I went on a weekday late morning and had to wait only 10 or less minutes and was taken care of by a knowledgeable sweet lady. Parking was easy too. I would definitely come back here!

Very professional staff and always get back to you on time. highly recommend them to everybody, was with Ameriprise (Costco) insurance for over 7 years but was tired of them increasing my rates.

Very good place to go if you want anything done and do not want to go to the dmv. Attracts a different crowd and is an overall better experience. Faster and with less confusion.
