IN NOVEMBER 2016 AND FEBRUARY 2017 I HAD 2 MAJOR PLUMBING EMERGENCIES IN THE OLDER HOME I PURCHASED LAST JULY 2016 IN SOUTH BUFFALO. IN NOVEMBER 2016, STEVEN WOLTER ARRIVED FOR THE 1ST EMERGENCY AND HE IS AN EXCELLENT TALENTED TECHNICIAN OF YOURS, WHO DESERVES A RAISE AND AN AWARD FOR THE SKILLED HARD WORK HE COMPLETED, ON A VERY COLD DAY. HE SPENT 5-6 HOURS ON AN EXTREMELY DIFFICULT AREA TO WORK IN, WITH HAVING TO REMOVE AND REPLACE NUMEROUS ROTTEN KITCHEN SINK PARTS THAT I WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF WHEN I PURCHASED THE HOUSE, AND MAJOR LEAKING HAD BEEN TAKING PLACE ALL THE WHILE, AND STARTED TO DESTROY MY KITCHEN CUPBOARDS AND ADDED TO THE COMPLICATED MESS IN MY BADLY DECAYED KITCHEN PLUMBING, THAT EVEN POWER TOOLS COULD NOT BUDGE, STEVE HAD A REAL HARD JOB ON HIS HANDS TO COMPLETE. I DISCOVERED EVERYTHING BY ACCIDENT ONE DAY WHEN I REACHED INTO MY CUPBOARD FOR A SALAD BOWL. STEVE BASICALLY REBUILT MY ENTIRE KITCHEN SINK AND PLUMBING, COMPLETELY. I DO NOT OWN ANY COMPUTER OR HAVE INTERNET AT MY HOME, AND HAVE VERY LIMITED TIMES AT WORK TO USE MY WORK COMPUTER TO GET TO MY GOOGLE SCREEN, AND COULD NOT FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET TO THE CORRECT ROTOR-ROOTER SCREEN TO WRITE A REVIEW FOR STEVEN W. ANY EARLIER THAN NOW. KEVIN FROM ROTOR-ROOTER RECENTLY SENT ME AN EMAIL TO EXPLAIN HOW TO GET TO THE SCREEN I NEEDED TO GO TO, AFTER I CONTACTED HIS COMPANY IN FEBRUARY 2017, ( WITH MY DILEMMA ABOUT NOT BEING ABLE TO RESPOND BY EMAIL CONCERNING THEIR SERVICE THEY PROVIDED ME IN BOTH NOVEMBER 2016 AND FEBRUARY 2017. ) THE 2ND EMERGENCY TOOK PLACE UNEXPECTEDLY ALSO, IN WHICH MY TOILET PLUMBING WAS COMPLETELY WORN AND MAJOR LEAKING STARTED ALL OVER THE BATHROOM, THROUGH THE FLOOR, INTO THE BASEMENT CEILING, AND ONTO THE BASEMENT FLOOR, AS WELL AS THE TOILET NOT SHUTTING OFF AT ALL UNTIL I TURNED THE WATER COMPLETELY OFF. THOMAS PAGE, ANOTHER HIGHLY SKILLED TECHNICIAN OF ROTOR-ROOTER, ARRIVED ON THE SCENE WHEN I CALLED FOR HELP AND REPLACED EVERYTHING THAT WAS NEEDED IN A TIMELY FASHION, SO I COULD HAVE USE OF MY BATHROOM AGAIN. I ROTATE SHIFTS AROUND THE CLOCK, ON MY FULL-TIME JOB, AND WHEN THESE CATASTROPHES WITH MY HOUSE HAPPEN SUDDENLY, I DO NOT HAVE TIME TO SCHEDULE APPOINTMENTS, I NEED A 24-HOUR, 7 DAY A WEEK BUSINESS, INCLUDING HOLIDAYS, AT NO EXTRA COST, FOR AFTER HOURS, SUCH AS ROTOR-ROOTER IS, TO JUST COME OUT AND HELP ME. GIVE THOMAS PAGE A RAISE AND AWARD TOO FOR REPRESENTING THE SAME CONSISTENT EXCELLENCE YOUR COMPANY EMPLOYEES PROVIDE FOR OUR COMMUNITY. I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT ROTOR ROOTER ALSO COMES OUT TO REPLACE HOT-WATER HEATERS AND FURNACES, NOT JUST DRAINS AND PLUMBING ASSIGNMENTS. THIS IS GOOD TO KNOW SINCE THOSE ITEMS ALSO DO NOT GIVE WARNING WHEN THEY BREAK DOWN AND STOP WORKING. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BEING A POLITE RELIABLE SKILLED COMPANY.

03/17/16- Place a call to come to Roto-Rooter and see what the problem was with our laundry sinks backing up. With in a few minutes I received a call back that they were on there way. Matt Gilbert was excellent in resolving the problem and then clean the sewer line out and request to have a picture taken of the line. So I agreed and another man arrived and took the picture and showed it to me and did a except job explaining what he was doing and explained to me. Then made a suggestion on what should be done in which I am considering. Then Matt Gilbert clean the sewer line out and showed my wife and I what he bought out of lines. I thought that was great since no one every showed that to me before. I have to give a score from one to TEN. A TEN for sure on the work that was done and the great service that that they supplied me with. Matt even clean up before leaving by wipe up all the water. I insisted that I would clean up but he insisted that he would take care it. So for sure I would give a TEN and I am glad I called Roto-Rooter to help me today. I will make sure I tell all my family and friends what a GREAT JOB they did. I was very happy and call Roto-Rooter again!!!

I want to commend plumber, Lance Twoguns, #907 for the excellent follow up service he provided in my Akron (Buffalo) home. He went far beyond what I expected to correct several problems that occurred as a result of previous service by another tech. I contacted Roto-Rooter on 2/12/2013 because I had a clogged bathtub drain and I had a faucet rebuilt. I signed an estimate for a certain amount and was then charged more because the trap had to be replaced. I was not told of this additional charge in advance. Replacing the trap resulted in a water in the basement and some damage in the living area. Also, the handle on the rebuilt faucet was stripped and became unusageable a few days later. Lance quickly corrected all problems. He purchased new faucet handles, sanded and painted the damaged area and kept a very upbeat dispostion throughout his assignment. I would definitely use roto-rooter in the future because while problems may arise from time to time within any company, they do stand behind their work.

We live near Buffalo and were in need of a plumber. I scheduled my appointment with Roto Rooter using their on-line scheduling. After making my appointment on-line, I immediately received an e-mail confirming my appointment and stating that someone would call me before they arrived at the house. I did receive a phone call around noon from a very friendly woman telling me it will be about 1 1/2 hours and it was exactly that. At 1:30 they phoned me to tell me they were on their way. Chad the service technician was very friendly, professional and did an excellent job explaining exactly what he was going to do. He told me exactly what the cost would be. We had raw sewage backing up into our stationary tub in the basement from all our drains. He confirmed the problem, explained it as he went along and then completely explained to me the use of the ROOT-X he used. The service was fast, professional, and friendly and they did an excellent job. I highly recommend using Roto-Rooter.

I needed a flush tower replaced. I changed and checked everything inside the tank and it still would run a couple times an hour. Albert and Kevin checked everything and then called Kohler to troubleshoot. Within minutes the solution was discovered and after getting replacement tower parts, the install was complete and the solution was set. They were professional and courteous. I had to make a second call because I overturned a valve and a second tech came out in minutes, Ken, and he discovered I had done a little more damage than a simple overturn. He replaced the parts after getting them and was a great customer service person and assured me I would have no further issues. A frustrating problem was solved by 3 on site techs within 2 hours total and the local office in West Seneca was also professional and treated me like I was the only thing that mattered . Highly gratifying experience.

I called Roto Rooters West Seneca at 11pm on Friday night 8/12/11 because of a clogged kitchen drain with standing water. A friendly rep assured that a plumber would be on his way. About a half hour later Scott Brown arrived and got to work after a brief overview of the problem and estimated cost for the labor. Scott solved the problem in less than 30 minutes. The total cost was $240 for the labor, which seemed a bit excessive seeing as I had to help Scott from the upstairs kitchen sink and by listening to the toilet stack in the basement as he tried to determine where the pipes were headed (i.e. I had to crouch on the ground with my hands on and head near the pipes). The flat rate service call seems like the wrong business model. The cost aside, the problem was fixed quickly. In a pinch I would definitely call Roto Rooters again.

It was at 12:30 Sunday night my daughter took a late shower then went down stairs to check on the dryer. She found the basement flooding, about 3 inches of water covering the laundry area. When seeing all the water I thought for sure I was going to miss a day at work. I called Roto-Rooter because I have used them before. The operator said it would be 1 to 4 hours tonight or between 9:00 and 11:00 tomorrow. I chose the 1 to 4 tonight. It was a little less than an hour when Mike the Service Technician arrived and in less than hour he had the the drains snaked out and water running freely. Mike was an extremely courtious and knowledgeable Technician. He also did a verry good job cleaning up when he was done. He was a true professional and I would not hesitate to call him again for service.

I called Roto-Rooter of Buffalo this past Sunday morning to come out and clear a clogged sewer drain. I was a little frustrated that they would not give me an estimate over the phone. I was told they come out for free and then give you a price. When the plumber got there he looked over the situation and then told me how much they charge for to clear a clogged sewer drain. If I would have known the price up front I would have went with a different company because they were much more expensive, but since they were there and I needed the drain cleared I Roto-Rooter do the work. The drain was cleared, but the plumber did not have a camera to do an inspection and I am still waiting for another plumber to come out and run the camera through the sewer pipe so we can make sure the drain is clear.

Had your people over on 12-13-13 ( a Friday). Frank came first and after several hours admitted he could not find the problem and called for help. I was impressed by this and thought he was very professional in his ability to admit his short coming and seek help to help solve my plumping problem.Albert Richter badge #1756 arrived shortly after and found and solved the problem. He was familiar with mobile home construction and knew where to look. My wife and I were very impressed with him. I would recommend him anytime. Being an a retired Service Mgr. for a machine tool company, he was the sort of service tech I would have hired back then. He did not leave our home until both he and I were satisfied the problem was solved. I would recommend Roto-Rooter anytime. Thank you, Ed Hejna

On Monday Sept. 17, 2012 we discovered we had a problem with our sewer line. Knowing that we had roto rooter in the past we called them. Their response was quick and excellent. They came within an hour after we called.Our technician Daniel (1781) was very helpful. He explained everything he was going to do. He told us why we had a problem and he solved it. This Buffalo plumber was outstanding. We are very pleased. He scheduled a camera review and they came the next day. I will always use roto rooter and I will always suggest them to friends and family when they need a plumber. Thank you, Tom Ahearn ps we were very pleased that there was no extra charge for coming in the evening!

called nearly a.m. today 6/26 office answered immediately and knew of my past use. the contact person said a tech would be here before 11a.m. Raymond arrived at 10 -introduced himself indicated up front the cost - checked the area /p[pes/drains involved with sewage back up and determined what was needed. He was polite in asking me to turn water on etc . He was professional and personable in all interactions. He was careful with all the machinery used so as not to create any extra work or damage. Upon leaving he described what the problem was and reiterated possible follow up clean up services. Roto Rooter a super hero He explained follow up services -I asked for your drain product as I had used it in the past. He followed all procedures and processes carefully. S

My husband and i had a back up in our basement, and having never a need for a plumber, we contacted Rotor-Rooter. Hoping that they could send someone to our buffalo residence as quickly as possible, (because it seemed to be getting worse by the minute) They sent someone right out. It was after 6pm, and we were not able to use any plumbing at all, because it would back up. I cant tell you how grateful we were. And the gentleman that they sent "Steve" was just fabulous. He worked to get things right and he made every effort to make sure that this problem was corrected before he left. He honestly went straight to the job and he didnt stop until it was complete. He WAS a Godsend. We thank you Rotor Rooter for your prompt and extremely courteous sservice. Very Reliable!!!
