Since Embark bought us out, this place has suffered. As a lifetime member, I hope things here improve. Fees are up, service is down. edit: Upgraded to 2* & considering staying, since I got a nice call from Embark. Turns out they were experiencing "high turnover" and there may have been some unhappy employees. Big part of the problem was: I was getting charged for paper statements when email statements are free: (the fact was informative that I had tried repeatedly on previous calls to understand & reduce my fees, but no one had said "Save the $7 by switching to email statements.") I have been a member for >50 years & hate the idea of quitting.

I have worked with Kirby Cagle for about 8 months, which has been a great experience. She is always willing to get my needs taken care of and is very prompt and efficient in doing so. Even when she has had to tell me no on a line of credit request, she is caring and very good at explaining what the circumstances are and why the request may not be able to be filled. There are several other staff members who have recently assisted me in opening a business account in a timely manner. I would not bank anywhere, and strongly recommend Embark to everyone I know. A very friendly, caring and helpful staff at all times. Thank you Embark!

These guys are fantastic. Great communication, prompt service, and excellent care. My only complaint is that web services are a bit behind the times. Right now my only option to pay loans (since I reside in another state) is by mailing it or check by phone. It would be nice to be able to pay from another bank or even debit card. Other then that, love this place.

I appreciated that, and it demonstrated to me that they did value my membership, even though early on I had some doubts.

I got a loan for 2 4 wheelers, and it was easy,. Very professional and great to work with. My son even has a loan with them, they wrote his very first car loan for him. With hardly any credit. Now he has used them 3 times. Great people.
