They did the best job! They were honest with me on what they could do for us due to the type of furnace we had. They said they could do about 30% out of 100% on getting all the debri out of the vents. Our son has currently a bad case of stridor plus 2/3 of one lung removed at birth and the doctors said doing the vents would help with the stridor. The house was built in 52 and had never been done before. My husband and I decided that 30% was better then not getting anything done. When I explained the situation to woman on the phone,I was crying and she was so kind. She was able to schedule an appointment the very next day. The manager also contacted me for photos and explained the percentage. He was so honest and thats why we decided to go with them. The next morning 2 of the nicest guys came to my home. Polite and receptful of my home and my feelings. They knew about my baby and said they were going to do their very best to go above 30%. I watched them through out the process. Rob came up to me about half through and said that he really felt they would be able to get to 80%. That made me very emotional because I knew I could feel comfortable bringing my son home. They were able to do 80% and the air feels so clean in my home. They cleaned up after themselves and when they left you would not know they had been there. I would highly recommend them! The entire process from start to finish was profession and top notch. Yes, you pay a bit more for this company than you may with others, but you get the best service and highest quality work around. I appreciated the scheduling process, as well as the call from the office on the day of service to let me know the service techs were on their way. Tommy and Robert were great - telling me exactly what they were going to do from start to finish. They were efficient and made sure to tarp and wear shoe covers in every part of the house. The final product was exactly as expected - a very big difference from the dusty/dirty ducts that we had. The only issue we faced during service actually made me even more impressed with Amistee. About ten minutes from the work being done, the vacuum on the truck blew a valve or something and in addition to having to call for a new truck to replace the broken one, a pretty big area of our driveway had grease splattered on it. While the second truck was on its way, Tommy and Robert cleaned up what they could, but there was still a noticeable amount of grease on our driveway. When the supervisor arrived with another truck he came in, apologized and said that he would have someone out on Monday (it was Saturday) to powerwash and clean the driveway. Sure enough, when I got home Monday night the driveway was cleaned. Great company, will do business with them again.

Update 8/11/2017 for service done 9/26/2016 at a new house. Had our home we just bought cleaned. Same great service as before. Thank you Rob and Kyle! Started looking into air cleaning as my finacee and I have horrid allergies. My dad gave me a heads up to find a company that takes before and after photos. After some searching on google, I came across Amistee. Hands down they had the best site explaining what they would do, as well as the process to do it (most companies repeated that they would clean the ducts). And I think they were the only one that took before and after pics. Impressed, I called and talked to a customer service rep. I dont remember her name, but she was polite, and got a bit more into the process, including time to do it and costs. The appt was scheduled for between 8-9am the following week. I received a reminder the day before, as well as the next morning 30min before arrival (Comcast, you should be taking notes). Jim and Tommy were there on time. Both were very courteous, respectful and professional. They explained what they were going to do, and were quite efficient. The whole process took about 2 hours. I swear I can tell a difference in the air in the house. Definitely plan on doing this again in the recommended 3-5 years. Highly recommended. Thank you guys!

After conducting extensive research my wife and I finally selected Amistee Air Duct Cleaning and Insulation to clean the duct system in our home. Jeffrey Kantola and Greg Malec , were the duct cleaning specialist that performed the service, they were timely, polite and professional. They thoroughly explained everything they were going to do during the two plus hour period they would be in my home. After completing their walk through, they both went right to work and continued working until the job was done. I appreciated the fact that they both made sure they covered their feet when the entered my home and they carefully placed protective cloths and foam bumpers down to ensure their hoses did not damage either my floor or my walls. As they were finishing up, Jeff and Greg took the time to show me some before and after photos of my duct system and suffice to say, I was amazed at the amount of debris they pulled out of our duct system. Additionally, before departing my home, they made sure they cleaned up and returned all of my furniture back to it’s original place. Barry was extremely thorough. During his first visit to our home, he found a trouble spot that would prevent him from doing the cleaning as thoroughly as he likes. He suggested an access panel be placed descreetly in our ceiling. He suggested we have new filters ready to replace the old once he cleaned the ducts. He also suggested we have the ducts cleaned on a warmer day as both furnaces would be shut off for 4-5 hours. It was 15 degrees outside...so his was very helpful info! He came back to the house 2 weeks later and I was ready for him (and it was warmer outside!) He and Greg worked efficiently and were very mindful of my newly painted walls. They both wore booties to protect my carpets and also worked around my two pets nicely. Once finished, Barry patiently walked me through the proper care and replacement of my variety of filters. He took pictures and repeated when I had questions. We believe that our air quality was noticeably improved by evening. Very happy we got this service done and we would use Barry at Amistee again!

We could not be more impressed! Both Jackie, and Jason were courteous and, and professional! Jackie especially took the lead, and made sure that she thoroughly explained in great detail what she was going to do; and made sure that we were comfortable with the process. It truly felt as if we had a good friend coming to our home, to take care of what we needed. We appreciated that Jason took the time to protect our wall, and carpet. Before she and Jason left, Jackie made sure that she explained how to change all filters, and educated us on the the proper function, and maintenance schedule of our furnace and humidifier. The Amistee Duct Cleaning experience was well organized and professional. The technicians described the entire process, were well-mannered and worked in an efficient manner. Amistee also provided before and after pictures so that I could see what the return air duct looked like before and after the ducts were cleaned. They also cleaned the all heating runs, all return air runs, registers and furnace. Unliker previous experiences with duct cleaning companies I found the representatives from Amistee to be very professional in all aspects of their work. They exhibited awareness of the immediate environment insuring that my home was kept clean at all level of services plave foam blocks wherever the duct hose could rub walls. They also wore coverings for their boots (snowy day) as they went in and out as they did their job. In the basement personal storage items were covered and following their exit thyere was no dust nor dirt in the basement. They were very thorough answering questions quickly and clearly. Took before and after pictures that were very clear.showing the comparative outcomes. Very please especially after they explained that everything was guaranteed and if necessary they would return until I was satisfied. I was sold. RECOMMENDED!!!!

We recently moved into a condo and are having our laundry room remodeled. We discovered that the dryer vent was pretty much loaded with lint and more than likely had never been cleaned. Our builder recommended Amistee and we are so glad he did. Our service technician Jim showed up at the appointed time and went right to work. He took photos before cleaning the dryer vent to show us how clogged it was and then started the actual cleaning. He was very professional in his job and readily answered any questions we had. I had been blaming the long drying time on the very old dryer when it was because the vent was clogged! Jim told me if we had not gotten the vent cleaned, I would have had similar problems with my new dryer. He also said that a clogged dryer vent can be a fire hazard. We recommend Amistee and Jim to anyone needing their services.

I received a call from Amistee in the morning indicating that Jake and Darren were on their way to my home. They arrived on time and were very friendly and professional. They went right to work and were sure to put shoe covers on when walking around the interior. They politely answered my questions and explained exactly what they were doing. It was extremely cold and breezy out the day they arrived and the house got very cold! They were helpful in trying to keep the exterior door partially closed during the process to minimize the loss of heat! That was much appreciated as it was only 3 Degrees outside on a cold day in January! Thanks to all at Amistee! I will surely recommend you to others! Josh and Jim S were my service technicians today. I was given a two-hour window for their arrival, and advised the techs would call on their way. I received the call, and they arrived exactly on time. The men showed up and introduced themselves. They were professional, extremely courteous, efficient, and very polite. They used shoe covers, were respectful of my home, and completed the job in less than the estimated time. They kept me informed of what was going on, and made sure I was satisfied before they left. I would HIGHLY recommend Amistee for this critical job. I was appalled at the amount of lint and build-up in my (unusually) long duct from the dryer to the exterior vent. Barry and Ian just completed a whole home duct clean and sanitation for us. Such a pleasant experience! Professional and very friendly. We JUST moved in the day before our service. Boxes everywhere. They helped me move things about to make my registers accessible, and they even crawled to get to one instead of my rearranging all the boxes! Very thorough, they even cleaned a return I had completely forgotten about that was hidden by more boxes! They were also very considerate of my home, and found that a duct had been blocked since they built the home! Or close to it. They removed the blockage as well. I will be using Amistee again in the future, and would love it if I happened to see Barry and Ian again!

Had an AMAZING experience with Amistee Air Duct Cleaning. Our specialist was Melvin Buckner, he was a very polite young man! He explained everything throughly so I had a general understanding of the procedure he would be performing, and exactly how all of his equipment worked. He came in, got straight to work and performed excellent service. He was by himself, and took just over 2 hours to perform the cleaning which was great timing. He then gave me a walk through and explained exactly what he had done, showed me the entry points of where he entered all of the ducts, and made sure everything was to my satisfaction before leaving! Overall great experience! Will be recommending Amistee to friends and family!
